He has to go for a sleep study before being diagnosed with sleep apnea. You don't just run out and purchase a CPAP machine, it doesn't work that way. Insurance pays for it. At least I would hope they would cover it.
What other suppliments do you take? I had the same symptoms but was a heavy stimulant user for years with little to no breaks. I went stimulant free from pre-workout supps and ECA stacks and now I am starting to feel much better. I took some ZMA and Revamp as well which helped with my sleep; I think the magnesium in the ZMA gives me very vibrant dreams but I definately sleep better on it.
Just a thought before you go down the test road...check your diet and suppliments you take; cycle off stimulants for a while.
Before recommending supplements on needs to know a lot more information of really what is it you are really dealing with before stabbing at things in the dark.
Stop fruitlessly trying to solve this kids problem. All he said is he was tired when he woke up. I've been tired when I've woken up before as I'm sure everyone has been. People need to stop trying to be doctors and diagnose what is wrong with people on an internet message board. It is ridiculous.
I masturbate 3 times a day.Never had morning wood and usually sleep late.I still don't know if masturbation is the problem or my sleep pattern.I have normal XY karyotype.
I dont know if this might help? But as for "myself"the way i feel in the morning has alot to do with what i got instore for the day(training/work/ect.)and what i eat before bed, like if i do a casien shake with fats im not as peppy as if i eat a whole food meal before bed(turkey/cheese/nuts)
