FatboySlim-How To Get Shredded w/ Anabolic Xtreme(unsponsored)

Day 32

Back Day:

A little advice, make sure you order your supplements on time so you don't run out. LOL. Someone asked me if I feel like the Hyperdrol gave me more strength. Last night I took my last two Hyperdrol. This morning I had all my other supps except Hyperdrol, didn't feel that drive this morning. Even when I thought I could push myself I just fizzeled out. Lucky for me they delivered my supps yesterday, but I need to pick em up at my apartment front office. Not that great of a workout!!!

Day 34

Legs Day:

Today was only an ok workout. On a scale of 1-10 I would say about a 7. I've been having a little soreness in my back so I didn't want to go all out. I did however go up in weight on my leg press and squats. There was some discomfort but I managed. I feel good though can't stop, won't stop!!!

BTW: I'm restocked up on the Supps and they're working out for me well. I'm really used to the supplementation now, they just seem part of the process and I'm continuing to improve. Good job Anabolic Xtreme

Glad everything's working out for you!

Day 35

Shoulders/Tri/Bi's:

Today was an average workout day for me. I didn't have much drive in my shoulder workout portion but tri's and bi's more than made up for it. I really needed to push harder through the shoulder sets though. Moved up to 30lb dumbells and tried to make sure I was only using the bicep muscle and not swinging the weight up to assist me. Looking forward to Sunday no workout. Will do low intensity cardio tomorrow morning. Late

Day 37

Chest workout:

Good workout today, I felt very strong on bench press, dumbell fly and Dumbell pullover. I feel like I'm missing out on that last freakin rep that a partner can help you push out. I know those are the ones that help you grow. I just can't get anyone crazy enough to be in the gym by 5:00 am. LOL. Anyway, I'm very pleased by the progress I've made. There's probably not much more I can say about the supplements, I mean they're working fine for me. Appetite is in check, strength is good, Energy during the day good. The only way I would see any changes with the supps would be probably take 2 Slim Xtreme per day. But I think I'm doing good with the current dosage and don't see the need to change anything.

Day 38

Cardio Day:

Did 50 minutes of low intensity cardio. 30 minutes on the eliptical machine and 20 minutes on the treadmill incline level 15 at 2.5 pace.

Day 39

Legs:

4 set of each exercise (see 1st post for leg exercises). The best highlight would be the leg press. Starting to really push myself with the press. I can really feel the contraction through the quad, hamstring and inner thigh areas. I really try to push through the balls of my heel. Legs really take a lot out of you. LOL. Really in the groove now.

Nice detail! Your right, if you have a good dose that works for.... Stick with it!

Nice progress.

Nice progress, do you have before/after pics? I would like to try something like this!!!

Yes, I have before pics. I'll put them up in the first post. So embarassing. LOL. I haven't taken after pics because I'm not yet done. I should post some half point pics though. Keep your eye out for them.

Oh, this is a good stack for fatloss; I'm happy with it.

Day 40

Shoulders/Tri's/Bi's:

Great workout this morning. Didn't workout Friday had to do it Saturday morning. I really felt it this morning. Went very hard on dumbell press and shoulder shrugs with bar, moved up in weight on both. Bi's were great, concentrated on the burn and contraction of the muscle. Tri's are getting stronger also. Gotta keep it going!!!

Day 41

Weigh in:

Last Week: 205.4 lbs
This Week: 202.8 lbs

2.8 lbs and I will have reached the goal I initially set for myself (200 lbs).

Day 42

Chest:

I wasn't really impressed with this morning's workout. I just didn't have the drive from the start. I felt kind of sluggish while doing bench press today. I didn't reach any of my reps on most of my sets. I felt a lot better during my next exercise incline bench press. I was more intense doing that one. By the time I hit dumbell pullover I was a little discouraged. So I went up to 55lb dumbell and ecked out 4 sets and called it a morning.

Day 43

Back Day:

Good workout this morning, although I felt I may have went a little too heavy to effectively control the weight and maintain proper form. I think I'll cut back on the weight so I'll have more control, feel the muscle contraction and get that slight pause. This was felt while doing Row's. All in all I felt pretty good about the workout though.

As far as the supplements, things are pretty much the same. My appetite is still in check and I do have more drive in the weight room. Good stuff!!! I'm thinking of adding another Slim Extreme capsule in the morning to see if I get even more results. Will keep you posted.

Day 45

Leg Day,

My left ankle has been bothering me in the morning for the past week. I wake up and there has been discomfort when I just stand or apply pressure. So I still toughed things out. It really did affect the amount of weight I went on squats, so I took it down to just 45's only. The discomfort was minor when I started doing seated leg press so I stuck with heavy weight. Finished off my routine, then walked on the treadmill for 15 minutes.

Day 46

Shoulders/Bi's/Tri's:

Good workout Saturday morning. I felt very intense during the whole workout. Shoulders seem to be getting stronger. Dumbell press and shoulder shrugs was done with maximum effort. By far seated dumbell curls was my most intense exercise. Tricep exercises were intense also. Felt very good during this one.

Day 47

Weigh in:

Last Week: 202.8 lbs
This Week: 205.6 lbs

There is a very clear explanation for the weight gain this week: "I ate like crap." It was my girlfriends birthday last week and we went out to dinner and had dessert. Forgot breakfast one morning and ate like crap. Last night got talked into going out and had my first drink in 2 1/2 months. Won't let that happen again.

Day 48

Chest:

For some reason I struggled on bench press today. I felt a little tuckered out after the first set. I think I may be a little too apprehensive to go for that last rep because I don't have a spot in the morning. I may switch over to dumbells. incline, fly and dumbell pullover were much better. I made sure I pushed out those last reps. Derailed my diet last week so I'm focusing on getting back on track this week.

Day 49

Back:

Good workout today. I usually go pretty hard on back workout. Although today the weight may have been too much. I wasn't able to get a full contraction in my reps. Will take the weight down a little. Progress is steady.

Day 52

Shoulders/Tri's/Bi's

Another Saturday morning in the gym. :cussing: Man the past two weeks have been up and down for me. I totally lost focus on my diet since a birthday weekend. So last week I gain about 2-3lbs and really tried to keep my diet in check. Weekends suck because I hate to cook on them. So I'm very careful about when I eat out. Enough ranting!!!

The workout went really smooth this morning and I'm getting with my shoulders and tri's. Didn't have that intensity while doing bicep curls but managed to do ok. Feeling really good though and looking a lot better.

Day 53

Weigh In:

Last weekend: 205.6 lbs
This weekend: 199.8 lbs

Man, was I really worried about this weigh in. I really lost my focus on dieting the past two weeks. I was nearly flawless up until the girlfriends birthday weekend 4/01/09. Since then I've had a few battles with going to long between meals and minor setbacks. I really think I was a little bloated from the alcohol I drank the night before and not enough sleep. So right now I'm still on target.

Milestone and Evaluation!!!

Alright folks I want to talk a little about a milestone or goal reached. As of Sunday morning, when I stepped on that scale I reached the initial goal that I set for myself at the start of this log ;so there is a lot to be PROUD of. But when I look in the mirror and evaluate my body I still have a long way to go to get the desired result that I envision. Right now I'm reevaluating and setting new goals to get the desired result.

Initially I set the goal of dropping down to 200 lbs. When starting this log and Anabolic Xtreme supplements on 2/21/09 my weight was 221 lbs; a total of 21 lbs (Yeah Anabolic Xtreme). Prior to starting the log on Jan 1, 2009 (New Years Resolution) my weight was 230 lbs (I was doing a strict no carb diet and taking USP labs AP, Prime, Jacked and Powerfull). Did pretty well but wanted to try different supplements. So overall this year I've lost 30 lbs.

So I'm continuing my journey and log until I get the results I'm looking for.

Day 54

Chest:

Felt very good on every other exercise expect bench. I think I may be a little to worried about not being able to get the weight back up on those last couple of reps. I know if I had a partner spotting me it would be no problem, I'd go for it. At 5:00 am the regulars are trying to get through their workouts. You know what, screw it I'm just going to ask one of the guys to spot me and not worry about disturbing them; I know they'll do it. Sorry this turned into a rant. LOL

Day 55

Back Day:

Great workout. I really concentrated on contracting and making sure the back muscles were doing all the work. I've being trying hard to get that mind and muscle connection. Oh, and also good form.

Day 57

Shoulder/Tri's/Bi's:

Had a great workout this morning; man was I focused. The mind to muscle connection was the best I've ever had. I was so oblivious to the gym around me, it was incredible. Shisssh...I gotta get that type of focus every workout. Shrugs felt really good and even added more weight. Bicep dumbell curl and French curls were spot on. Overall it was one of my best efforts.

Toughest Battle Yet!!!

Got some bad news on Sunday. Had to go to the hod=spital because my wrist started to swell up really bad. Noticed my left wrist tweaked after Friday's workout and it got progressively worse until Sunday I couldn't bare it. Doc said I stressed it so bad that I have a strong case of carpul tunnel. i have to rest the wrist and let it heal. I won't lift much for two weeks until clear and will only do cardio. I'm so dissapointed but will continue to write this journal until better. i haven't been in the gym since Friday and will resume cardio tommorrow. already screwed up a little on diet but ready to get back in action with it. tough battle ahead, but gotta conquer this.

Back to the Drawing Board!!!

Ok Everyone,

I'm back after a week and a half hiatus from an injured wrist. Several bad and good things happened:

1. Diet was crap but not that bad. Had a several days of eating whatever.
Man did I feel sluggish. During the day at work diet stayed the same,
but nights and a two weekends sucked.

2. I didn't even attempt to do cardio.

3. Weight didn't fluctuate much. Gained only 2 lbs. still holding at 200 lbs.

4. Was able to cycle off the stack after more than 8 week run.

This morning I wanted to go light and test out the wrist. After doing the chest routine I can see that I'll have to make some changes to the routine because a few of the exercises because of the stress on the wrist. The following exercises will be replaced:

*French curls
*Reverse curls
*Dumbell flys
*Dumbell pullovers
*Barbell pullovers

It felt good to be back in the gym this morning though.

Day 67

Chest:

Went light on the weight because of the hiatus from wrist injury. The light weight on the bench press was able to help me get that mind muscle connection going again. The same feeling with upper chest bench also. Dumbell flys and Dumbell pullovers didn't feel comfortable on the wrist, even though I finished the exercises I will be replacing those with different ones. Not quite sure which ones yet. Got my 30 min cardio in also. Feels good to be back.

Great log man, your progress in very impressive. Especially how you stick to such a restrictive diet for such a long period of time.
Im curious, what are you going to do once you reach the goal of looking like you want to look? How will you eat then?

Hey Kristopher,

Thanks for stopping by. Great question. That has always been the problem. You see I've lost over 30lbs before but after losing the weight I go crazy and back to same old eating habits. I have to say the only way I'm able to do the restrictive diet for this long is only because of the Xtreme Anabolic products, period!!! Lean Xtreme and Slim Xtreme totally kills my appetite and cravings. Believe me, even with the supps its been tough, but a lot easier than before I found the products.

To answer your question I guess its going to have to be a totally lifestyle change. Once I get the way I want to look, I'm just going to have to be careful of the food choices I make. The weekend eating and drinking kills me. I guess I'll have some tough choices to make!!!
