Fat Sacks and Natty Stacks

I agree and tend to believe that lean bulks followed by recomps are more beneficial in the long run but I also believe that to do this you need a good deal of experience with your body and a good deal of patience.

I don't believe in recomps. Not naturally that is.

Haha anyone who says steroids are cheating must be misinformed lol You can do every steroid out there but if you can't train/eat right it won't matter. That's just my opinion though.

I've seen it done and have done it successfully. I don't believe that it is the easiest way to progress but it is definitely possible.

I want to thank everyone around here for bring me back up # wise. Me & AB were the only 2 ppl to drop # wise & go back up & you guys made it all possible.

Keep an eye on this post and you will see it done again. I'm very determined and very strong willed

Best recomp is a lean bulk IMO man. You do you though, don't forget that you are the one in charge of your program and diet. Don't listen to everything everyone else says and do something that doesn't seem right to you, cause you don't get to blame them if it isn't a success.

You came out of Infantry osut at 18% body fat? What the **** did they feed you in there. That place must be way different than when I was in.
 
Dude Jim according to your numbers over 15 weeks of training you lost 2lbs of lean body mass and gained 20lbs of fat. Am I doing it right? LOL

I went to the exact same place as Jim at 198 came out 170 gained not a single ounce of fat, I'm sure of that. He managed to pack on 20lbs of pure fat while losing a little muscle. No wonder we lost the war, if this is what they are doing to our new soldiers at Ft. Benning.

That's why its approximate bro. I just know off of calculators that take neck and waist measurement along with height and weight with an error of +-5% either way. Its not the most accurate method but it was the only one I had.

And to answer your other question I was on double rats throughout the whole cycle which means extra servings of rice and cake and to my DS was 2 MRE's everytime we ate them.

Yeah a few months Back I was getting taped every drill even though I wasn't fat... I weighed 190.. like for real Lmfao the army needs to change something
 
As it turns out now I am currently attempting a lean bulk but have not been on top of my diet the way I should be and have noticed more of a recomp affect. I say this because my weight is staying steady but I notice that I'm getting visibly leaner. Which obviously means I need more food but ill cross that bridge when I come back from JRTC.

OK, and tbh I don't blame you for losing the war lol. I just am mad about it in general cause we had that **** all taken care of (Iraq anyway) by the time I popped smoke in '05. Since then we have lost tons of good americans and spent a ****load of tax dollars that would be better off teaching the youth of america to read. /rant

I agree. As a general rule I think our APFT is a joke because I've seen terribly out of shape soldiers pass them and I notice a lot of misinformation being spread as far as fitness goes.

I did a lot better with the PT test before OSUT than after. My pushups stayed about the same bbut my run time and my sit-up score both saw a rapid decline.
