FWIW, I think HIT4ME hardly looks scrawny. The latest pics really show some definition. There's something to be said for cutting down to the bottom and then building on top of that base.

Personally, I prefer to try and balance it into a recomp where I'm adding muscle, which in turn burns more fat. Just more my cup of tea.

Well first, I'm not saying he looks scrawny now. But, he's wanting to lose another 15 pounds and I think THAT would make him look scrawny.

I think if he started bulking, while not overdoing calorie surplus, he'd look a lot better and as you say the extra muscle would help with those last few pounds of fat.

I guess I took your comment the wrong way. Like we were discussing last week, when I got down to 179, I had people tell me I looked scrawny. But I was actually very healthy. Not as big, muscularly, as I'd have liked. But not sad looking. Balanced is the word I'd use to describe it. For that reason, I'm sensitive to that type of categorization.

If hit goes another 15, we'll certainly find out how it looks on him. :)

I think it's going to be hard to avoid looking small and depleted in his case dropping so much weight on a body that has never intentionally bulked before. I think he should try for that last 10 since he has already started 11-kt at a higher dose. I just see more value in it for a deficit than a surplus. It's not cheap either. Bulking now would work too. It's definitely easier to get leaner after every surplus cycle. More than one way to skin a cat.

This is my thinking. It is so easy for me to get fat - if I get lean and then bulk, if I start losing definition I will know it isn't muscle going on, but fat.

And I think it is so hard to admit to ourselves how little muscle we carry under all that fat - but once you admit it, you can get much more accomplished. Like I said, when I was 293 pounds my scale showed something like 57% body fat. That means I was almost 300 pounds and had 126 pounds of lean mass. I've lost over 120 pounds and gained at least 10 pounds of muscle since then...maybe even gained 15 pounds. Still not big, but I'm not a big guy.

Gonna keep trying to get lean...then bulk. But it is tempting and so is trying to do a recomp.

You know I am kidding. But in response to that comment, I went and worked out. I have been just looking forward to work outs for the last week, I fall asleep wanting to go exercise. It is weird actually. On my way home from work today I was really looking forward to hitting the gym. It was supposed to be a day off...but I decided I wanted to do it.

I got home and had to set up a ladder and replace a security light on the side of my house and things of course didn't go as planned and I was up and down a ladder for almost 2 hours.

Suddenly I was exhausted and thinking of taking the night off as originally planned, but then I saw Kaprice 's comment about being a skinned cat and thought, just for that I'm gonna go bench 215 for 5. So despite being tired, here it is:

Squats:
1 x 8 x 225 warm up
3 x 2 x 305 (almost had 3 on the first set, almost)

Straight Legged Deadlifts
1 x 2 x 315 (grip was failing, not back or legs)
1 x 5 x 315 (used straps)

Pull Ups
2 x 3 x BW + 55
1 x 2 x BW + 55

Bench Presses
1 x 8 x 135
1 x 4 x 215
1 x 3 x 215
1 x 2 x 215

Military Presses
3 x 2 x 135 (been stuck at 130 for a bit...figured I would just give it a shot)

Triceps Press Downs
1 x 2 x 55 ...felt completely exhausted

Barbell Curls
1 x 2 x 100...just too tired. Nothing left.

I didn't get the 5 x 215 on bench. But I hope KAPrice hasn't forgotten about catching up to the scrawny cat's bench press.

Thank you sir. I started this log as a S11 run and ran it up to 500 mg. It is a very mild hormone but I have no sides at all from it and more seems to be better. Around 500+ mg I really feel it becomes androgenic, but since it is the only hormonal product I've ever run I can't compare to anything.

Honestly, at 700 mg I am considering modifying my training to a full body workout 6 days a week. I feel ready to go and mentally just want to lift sh1t.

Since yesterday, my appetite is growing a bit...but could be unrelated.
 
How would you recover/progress on a 6 day full body split with a severe deficit? Wait never mind, you're that wunderkind HIT4ME.

That is what is keeping me from doing it. I just FEEL like it may be worth a try.

Plus I would keep the workouts to 1 set per exercise. I mean, I did 3 sets of 2 on squats last night and I feel pretty good today...kind of wonder if I could do it again.

But even if I could do it again, it may not be enough time for growth. I.e., I may be able to recover sufficiently to do it again, but not overcompensate.

Not sure what to think about it all. I am normally the one telling people they over train...

LOL - the irony in all this is that I am the one who went on the PSMF and everyone said I was eating too little and would kill my metabolism and I am the one who pointed out the law of thermodynamics. I was using the rules I thought. But I guess that's how I am - I just don't get the "rules" and even when I think I'm following them, I'm actually screwing it all up. Actually, in that light, huge pieces of my life just started to make A LOT of sense. Particularly some past relationships.
 
Physics is a biatch, I agree, especially gravity -looking at my balls hanging around my knees.

That's how it goes when you're hanging 2 plates down there. Don't do that and try kipping pull ups.

I've been kind of slacking the last few weeks, trying to get my mojo back...been working out, but not making the same progress and I'm gonna get fat and have HGP calling me fat soon....
 
Finished my workout early today. Was feeling good up until I got ready to actually do deadlifts and suddenly felt REALLY tired. I think the 11-KT doses are actually messing with my cortisol levels such that my sleep/wake cycle is a little messed up. At first, it seemed energizing, but now it seems like the bigger doses are making me sleepy. I'm going to try taking 9 ml at night before bed tonight and see if that helps me sleep. If I wake up feeling better, I will take 3 ml twice/day tomorrow and then 9 ml before bed. Not sure exactly what is going on but since going to 700 mg/day I've been either laying in bed unable to sleep or sleeping a lot and still having periods of lethargy throughout the day. On a potential positive note - last night before going to bed I noticed that my body was HOT. I mean, burning up. My hands are normally extremely cold, like ice cold as if I am dead. My hand last night was so hot my gf said they were burning. I'm wondering if the reduction in cortisol from such a high dose is helping my body's T3 work better? Not really sure, just more theory.

Deadlifts:
1 X 6 X 315 warm up (normally go lighter for 8 reps but didn't feel like dealing with moving 45 plates around)
1 X 2 X 415 - Was hoping for at least 3 and maybe 4 after hitting 5 X 405 last week. But I was feeling tired, as I said.

Leg Presses:
1 X 5 X 700 (This felt easier than expected but still hard)

Bent-Over Barbell Rows
1 X 5 X 195

Bench Presses:
1 X 8 X 135 warm up
1 X 3 X 215 (got 4 2 nights ago - this was a set back)

Military Presses
1 X 5 X 135 (big improvement - probably because I did just 1 set of bench presses instead of the 3 I've been doing)

Rope Face Pulls
1 X 6 X 85

Rope Press Downs
1 X 4 X 55

Barbell Curls
1 X 3 X 100 (improved 1 rep)

Overall, nothing great to report. Let just a little bit in the tank and limited myself to 1 set for each exercise. The workout went quick this way - but I'm going to try to hit the gym again tomorrow and see how that goes. If I can keep this up 6 days a week for a little while, we will see what happens, but I know I can't be driving myself into the ground every workout if I'm gonna do that.
 
Oh, and my diet hasn't been too bad today but this week it has kind of sucked. A couple cheats and poor planning. I've gained some fat. Going to try to get things in order there shortly, I really do get fat fast.

Someone here wrote that as long as you're heading in the right direction and keep working at it, little slip ups don't matter; as long as you don't let them get to you.....
Now I gotta just take my own advice....:)

So have I, **** happens lol. I need to cut soon, may hop on some turinabol instead if I think I can handle the aggression I'll get from it. I'm around 180 but I haven't counted calories in a while.

So, I've decided to try to modify HST to do full body workouts 6 days/week. Normally I wouldn't do this as I would worry about over training and not allowing time for growth between workouts never made sense to me. But the idea of chronic stress and the increased recovery I feel on the high dose Super 11, I am thinking of testing some limits.
Studhorse better get in here and make sure I do this right!

I did my B workout last night and that will be the start of this trial. Tonight was the A workout and there were some small signs of improvement, which surprised me.

Squats:
1 x 8 x 225 warm up
1 x 3 x 305 (could only get 2 on my last A workout)

Straight Legged Deadlifts
1 x 2 x 310 (again, with a double overhang my grip is failing...need to fix)
1 x 5 x 310 with straps

Pull Ups
1 x 3 x BW + 55

Bench Press
1 x 8 x 135 warm up
1 x 4 x 215 - Same as workout A on Thursday, +1 from yesterday

Military Press
1 x 3 x 140 (+5 from yesterday)

Rope Face Pulls
1 x 5 x 95

1 x 3 x 100

What rules will I break next? Will I fail and go down in a burning wreck? Or will I change the world!!!??? Probably neither...but stay tuned anyway.
