Haha. That is a perfect way to call them. From my experience if you put a scoop of excelsior or open a capsule of thermal spark and you see the "white butterflies" you have a solid batch. New excelsior I've seen a rare instance of them but nothing like before.Saw someone on reddit calling it the “white butterflies”

I definitely do! Whatevers going on, the secret ingredients/special sauce is either getting changed or eliminated all together. I even got a letter from northeastern nutrition apologizing for delays back in March, even mentioning that as a reason and threw me a 20% coupon. Unfortunately the alpha mood they sent me after a month of waiting was bunk. Very disappointed. I had ordered 2, and they sent me only one and the letter said do to shortages the other will get sent put when we get more batches. After trying the bunk first bottle, I just asked for a refund for the bottle they didn't send me. Which they gave me zero hassle on, the owner was understanding.
No, all the decent RCs they used to spike it with have been banned for years. Only the shitty dirty ones are left thats why its been getting worse.
Predator/imperial/hydrapharm are all one in the same now i think - any critique of anything from either brand is removed from reviews and shut down instantly. I think this was made obvious when they dropped doomsday as an excelsior alternative as soon as it became out of stock. Every time someone mentions a change in formula for tubs pred is quick to say its always the same when its very obvious that isnt the case to anyone that has used the products more than once
I agree! Great breakdown of the situation. I know Excelsior is still the undisputed champ of preworkout for the last 6 or so years, which lately says more about how crap other preworkouts have gotten. As a guy who was in the supplement field right before DMMA products got taken off the shelves and thrown away. Almost every preworkout was really good and competitive with others. Mesomorph, jacked, hemo rage, 1 MR, angel dust etc... Now it's to the point, it's Excelsior than further down its Crack purple, and everyone else is pretty much garbage In comparison. Unless you're lucky enough to get a 1st batch with a specifc lid and expiration Smash or wildfire.
Thanks for the update! From what I gather 6/26 is better than 7/26, your opinion on that? Either way, it's never going back to OG 2020 edition. We can hold out hope, and continue being lied to telling us it's the same or we can all stop buying it until they change it back. Most places its over 100.00 a container, put the sauce in or make it a reasonable 50.00 a container. All they are doing is jacking up the price and making us pay more for the name
6/26 is better if its the smooth lid with white powder, ive had a 6/26 that was identical to the pink sandy 7/26. Last decent tubs were 6/26 & 7/26 with the white powder anything with the pink/red sand isnt comparable at all
I know Eva's specified 6/26 smooth lid last week, but who knows. I hope a company comes out of left field and knocks Excelsior out of the top spot. Imperial nutrition needs some competition. There has to be a chemist looking to make a name for himself in the preworkout market, nows the time.

You don't have to say, I know what it is. It has a "4" in it. It's what made OG thermal spark a knockout as well.

I got some thermal spark 02/27 and the powder is white now. Older batches have a more brown colour. Did a test against my 01/27 batch and there are no white butterflies dancing on top. It also makes a wierd glassy film on the water surface just like recent sandy excelsior batches. Afraid to say Excelsior and Thermal spark are no longer euphoric. For OG excelsior and thermal spark fans i don't recommend it no more especially at the price point.

New thermal spark is trash. As mentioned by another poster. Imperial Nutrition and Hydrapharm are the same company. The first batch of Thermal spark, when they made their comeback Black Friday of 2023. That was a good batch, I bought some personally. Was it 2020 OG? NO, but it was still worth the price tag of 2.00 a pill or so. The second batch they made was bunk towards the end of 2024. I'm not sure what's floating around now, but would I roll dice for 100.00 from a shady ass company like predator nutrition? No. The hydrazine I got from ruesco is garbage too. Thankfully you can get samples there for most things they sell, and I opted for the 15 pill sample pack.
The recent batches up to 01/27 were fine for me… but then again I take phenibut the night before and take 3 caps the next morning

I can't speak on the brand new Thermal spark, but the one I got back in Nov/Dec of 24 was bunk from predator nutrition. The ones from the year before was really good, first batch since disappearing back in 2021.

Most recent thermal i had was brown and stronger than the bottle of hydrazine i got but i preferred the hydrazine tbh 2 caps was decent - as for the caps they were white originally when they were at their best (pre covid) and my most recent bottle are white caps
I assumed they were and that wasn’t secret. Bought one bottle of old hydrazine on here and it was the exact same powder all of a thermal spark I bought maybe 2 years ago. Next time I take one I can snap a pic. I got the first bottle of black pill hydrazine and it looked the same just weaker.
Interesting! Never had a bad experience on a black pill hydrazine before, they always hit for me. The white capsules always were weak or bunk. I can't speak on what hydrazine was before 2021, that's when I first tried them.
You got the good ones (In my opinion). I bet if your Crack one open, you will see brown and less white particles (Like mine). Have you tried them yet? I'm already jealous, the black ones are better you feel them more in a illicit way. Way better mood boosting than the white capsules.
Definitely not on 10/22 excelsior level, nothing was at that time lol

2 scoops semds me to the moon I got a bunch but the tubs are differentI got 4 bottles of thermal from predator recently 2/27 exp light powder in the caps instead of brown 2 caps are pretty good!!!
Some are more granular and some are more sandy seems the more granularity betterIm not complaining at all

Thanks bro. It's the good quality stuff. My white capsules of the 4/27 version was mostly white with some of extra white morsels I see in yours when I zoom in. How do they feel?
