Everybody check this out - Engine runs on straight H20

Holy crud...OMG..If this is for real, we are looking at a brand new era in modern civilization. We can then save our oil reserves for plastics production.

Yeah, seriously!! I really hope that its legit and gets developed quickly. It could usher in a new era of prosperity for a lot of people.

dang, i want that car...well, maybe not the escort, but the water power...

A water powered Titan 4x4 Off Road package with ZERO guilt...siigh, I hope that happens sooner than later.

Interesting....the cynic in me says a virtually free fuel wont be so welcomed by everyone...I would wonder how the automakers would price position this if it is equal to the price on an internal combustion engine.

Great, now water will go up to 3 dollars a gallon.
Currently, many individuals willingly pay much more than $3/gallon for water.

Amazing video, I wish I would have invented it. Admittedly though, I wonder how accurately that was represented.

Actually, I checked into a little further. It seems to be using or playing off of a technology called "brown gas" where the oxygen and hydrogen mixture augments the mileage of a regular gasoline vehicle...so I don't think it runs solely on water. I could be wrong though. I have contacted the manufacturer, Denny Klein, and I hope to learn more.

I've been driving the same little Nissan pickup for 14 years and now that I finally ahve enough money to buy a 4x4...that I've dreamed about forever since I am a biologist and outdoorsey type..I am afraid to get stuck with some antiquated technology that costs a fortune to run. I'm looking around at alt fuel possibilities.

4oz of water and an undisclosed amount of gasoline. Fox isn't accurately reporting this as far as I can tell.

Here's some others' thoughts on it...

Actually, I might be wrong..the company claims this is totally different than "Brown gas" and it may actually be able to combust without the addition of fossil fuels. It appears that you can mix it into gasoline, like the test vehicle shown in the report or run it without petroleum..it's all a little nebulous and these guys have a pretty vague website so it makes me wonder.

Here's a link to a published study they did.

True, but I doubt they would fill up with Evian .

Guys its not that easy. there is 2 chemistry professor in my university who have been looking into this for years. There is a huge field of research on water splitting reaction, problem is that you need great amount of energy to sustain the splitting reaction, and that be coastly. Plus energy spend on this reaction, make the yeild out put of this reaction very small. Very interesting idea however.

i can imagine people going to prison for collecting rain instead of paying $4 for water.,..

yea anyone caught with rain water in there possesion without a prober license for collecting rain will be locked up.

luckily i got all my precipitation licenses last year so no worries here :)

EDIT: o wait i forgot i still need to get my sleet license... free fast ice owns :)
