Ever Tried It?

There is a relatively new (at least news of it is relatively new) drug called Provigil (Modafinil). I know some people who swear by it, but wanted to see if anyone here had any experience with it.

The theory is that is promotes mental sharpness with less sleep, but that is does not interrupt sleep cycles. I personally have always viewed most stims as borrowing energy for now knowing I will be wiped out later, but this seems to avoid that.

Let me know if anyone knows. Obviously, I mean if you have been prescribed it for a medical condition.

There is a special form for this now, you posted in the wrong place. But if you bring it over, you better have narcolepsy or depression and not be just some kinda tweeker, or you will get shut down with the quickness.

I read an interesting story of this in a Reader's Digest where people get just as addicted to this as they do to other stimulants, especially because of the lowered disruption in sleep cycles making it seem like they have no problem.

It's got an intresting mode of action, though. Not as addictive biochemically as real dopaminergics like amphetamine. But in addiction prone people, maybe a problem.

Agreed.
But I think that most AAS users are "addiction-prone people" from the symptoms that I see on the boards (me included).
