Ergonine

So has the new formula ABE phased out the old at this point? I'm excited to pick some up, I just don't want to end up with the old stuff.

I would contact the retailer just to be 100%, depending where you order from.

Ergo you will be in my shaker soon enough! This break has been trying but we will soon be together at last. :)

I feel like this has been 1 of the most anticipated Insider's in recent memory

All of them seem to spark so much interest that it is hard to gauge! Definitely a big one here though!

Which one shall I try tomorrow and which in Friday?

One more day!

Actually, it is delayed
From PES Insider Thread:

Import update:

Due to an unfortunate shipping delay, our insider launch will be pushed back a few days.

We understand how frustrating this is (it is for us as well) and apologise for getting you all excited.

We fully anticipate the insider release to be posted by the end of next week.

^^^ Ben addressed this a few days ago.

Well I am part of the pes-insider, thought they may have sent an email out to tell people. I hadn't clicked on the post here.

What's one more week when you will have a lifetime of heavenly flavors ahead of you? :D

We do apologize and hate that these things can happen when we make our products immediately available via insiders when we receive them. Any delay and it unfortunately puts us behind. We jumped the gun but I'm more than confident it will be worth your wait! :)

One more week is welcome since I get paid next week!

Also, I prefer Ergoten -- 10-20g of 100% cocoa mixed in some hot water and then mixed with your E9. Helps dilute the sweetness of nanoberry also.

The silver lining. Works out perfectly for you then!

Thanks to kbayne and the PES team for sending me some samples of the iced tea and tropical twist! I've been anxiously awaiting them. I've gone through roughly ten tubs of e9 since its inception and have been waiting patiently for the insider to drop. I definitely will be stocking up. I don't think I have to speak much for e9. The ingredients speak for themselves. I ran out roughly 2 weeks ago and have not replaced it with a similar product (though I did use this time as an excuse to pound vpx bangs for the creatine). My diet hasn't changed and is on point. I am on week 12 of a 5 day a week DUP program. I rarely take complete days off and always do some form of physical activity on my 2 "rest" days, usually running or climbing or rucking. Anywho, I say all this to note that I can absolutely feel a difference when not on e9. It's not drastic or life changing, but I have definitely noticed an increased soreness. I purposely didn't replace it when I ran out so that I could test this. I've been taking e9 and others like it "just because", but I have now done my own little trial and error and am looking forward to the performance benefits again. I am interested to see if I gain a tick of strength from Betaine. I haven't been off of it in forever.

The iced tea: opened up and first thing was the smell. Smells just like a glass of sweet tea. Dead serious. I'm drinking it right now with dinner and if I gave you my cup you wouldn't know it was sweet tea if it wasn't for the color. And full disclosure I really don't even like tea unless there's about 9 lemmons and 7 Splendas in it. It's got an Arnold Palmer taste to it. It's delicious. One of those "look forward to drinking" supplements. I think I'm really going to enjoy it because it's not a typical supplement flavor. It's just a regular drink. No matter how good "tropical berry" or "blue ice" whatever flavor your supp is, you still feel like you're drinking a supplement. Not in this case. Can't wait to try tropical twist tomorrow. Great job PES. Will be stocking up (and on more gourmet vanilla while I'm at it)

Should see plenty of other reviews dropping throughout the week once all samples arrive to the individuals.

Yah. Ill be stocking up on that iced tea flavor. Back in the days when i first got into lifting, I used to use a pre called lit-up that was iced tea flavor. I'm pretty sure i went through multiple tubs of it mainly because it was iced tea flavor.

Lit-up was always in my rotation. I don't remember there being a iced tea flavor though. At least you will have something to compare this to then.

As directed, I tried my sample of tropical twist with 12oz of water. Based on my experiences with the OG flavors, I assumed that this would be a very strong mix as the other flavors I tend to add far more (upwards of 30oz sometimes).

Smell - upon opening the packet I was blasted with the standard puff of e9. The smell that came through was very fruity, and seemed like it would be a fruit punch-esque flavor.

Taste - Well, based on the smell, I now had expectations of a fairly simple fruit punch type of flavor, but this was way off. The flavor is exactly what the name says - tropical. Its a fruity blend, fairly light, not all that sweet, mildly tart, and with a coconut aftertaste. The coconut that comes through really makes it. Its nowhere near as strong of a flavor as the 2 OG flavors and will have many people very happy as it is not overpowering at all. Its light, refreshing, and has all types of exotic fruit flavors the only one of which you can truly pinpoint being coconut. If I had to guess the myraid of flavors that "might" be in this mix - pineapple, coconut, mango, berries, lemon/lime, papaya, etc... Like I said, its a very diverse blend but leans far more towards the light and tart side than the sweetness that NB and BI have.

This flavor will absolutely be a hit, especially for those who thought the originals were too strong. Its unique, refreshing, and mixes clear/white so the added dyes seem to have been removed.

Thanks PES for letting me give this a go! You can be sure I'll be stocking up when that insider hits ;)

Thanks for the in depth review man. You've convinced me to stock up as well.

Thanks Boone!

Now I'm upping my order on Tropical Twist for sure!

It was peach tea if i remember correctly, so maybe not the same thing.

It was. I had lemon iced tea Flavor from omega shred xt powder. Taste was meh. Looking forward to both new flavors to change things up.

I think I'll be going with Tropical Twist first when I get some more Ergognine.

For some reason, I think the flavor is going to be 100!!

Will it dethrone Nanaberry though?

I'm going with iced tea no doubt and might be tempted to try Tropical Twist as well. If not now then maybe later on down the line

I wonder if this flavour reminded you of something else because there actually isn't any coconut in the flavouring. :)

Iced Tea E9 Review:

I was so excited to finally have an Iced Tea PES product, I took it to work and drank it while at my desk.

Taste: The Iced Tea to me tastes identical to the Fuze tea sold at Subway.. It could be my imagination, however I get notes of tea, lemon, and almost honey or sweet tea taste. It is very refreshing, and would be awesome in the summertime. I did mix with 12oz of water as directed, however the flavor should hold up well to 20oz.

This further proves that PES could pull off the Arnold Palmer Alphamine. The sweet E9 Iced Tea flavor, with that nice tart lemonade from RL Alphamine would be insane. Until then, I will mix the two together, if my stomach can handle the Choline from both.

Thanks again for the samples. Next will be the Tropical Twist.

Great to hear man!
Was looking forward to your review on that one :)

Smell - upon opening the packet the scent that hit my nostrils was actually quite odd... Not exactly the pleasant "lipton" smell I had expected (and what I remember from the powders as a kid). It was almost a more "woody" type smell... somewhat like fresh mulch? odd to say the least.

Taste - Well, as you'd expect, it tastes like iced tea ha. Its by far the lightest of the flavors, and has quite a prevalent lemon flavoring to it. Its certainly not a "sweet tea" flavor as its much lighter and more tart than that. Its very nearly an arnold palmer with the amount of lemon that comes through. As mentioned before, the falvor is light overall and definitely will not be one that I would mix with the 30+oz of what I often do with the OG flavors.

I personally am not much of an iced tea fan, so this is definitely not my favorite flavor of the bunch. Its certainly not bad, and while it would go nicely on a warm sunny afternoon, its not one that I would buy just to drink like the others. For those who truly love iced tea though, this will be a surefire hit. Its a perfect tea flavor that makes you think of something your grandma would make on a hot summer day.

My rankings as of now: Nanaberry, Tropical Twist, Blue Ice, Iced Tea

Thanks PES for letting me give these both a try!
