Energy and gains with FINAFLEX.

Great advice in here guys!!! I'll check that vid out too ripper, thanks man :)

Also yes I train everything to failure, works really well for me :)

Hey guys,

So first update since Thursday as on Friday I had a funeral to attend so didn't get chance to workout... Obviously had a few drinks and some food, so strayed off the diet Friday.

Back on diet since Saturday, no gym sat... But in the gym for 5.30 today... Wasn't easy lol.

Today I decided on back and arms-

1 scoop of Creatine (been taking since thu still) in about 300ml of warm water, dissolved perfectly!

Best advice I've ever had about warm water!!! Sure it was ripper who mentioned it? Sorry if it was someone else I forgot.

Anyway to the workout-

Back-[\b]

Wide grip pull-ups-

3 sets of 8 with just BW

BB rows (underhand)-

135x 20 (2 sets)
205x 10 (2 sets)
225x 8 (2 sets) I could get more if I had my straps with me, grip lets me down with underhand.

DB rows-

65lb + 65lb (stacked) x failure (4 sets)

Wide grip lay pulldowns-

150x failure (4 sets)

Underhand lat PULLDOWNS-

205x failure (3 sets)

Seated 1 arm machine rows-

135x failure (4 sets)

Lat pullovers (cable)-

Not sure of weight x 15 (4 sets)

That's it for back I think...

Arms-

All super sets-

Straight BB curls into SK's, into CGBP-

BB curls- 70x failure into 70x failure SK, into 70x failure CGBP (using the same bar) 4 sets

Reverse curls into tricep kickbacks-

45x failure reverse curls into 25x failure KB's (4 sets)

Hammer curls into Tate press... This is so hard as my grip is already taxed from hammers...

45x failure hammers into 40x failure tate (4 sets)

Preacher curls into machine dips-

70x failure into full stack of dips (4 sets)

Felt great to be back in the gym after a few days off... Quite annoyed training hasn't been conistent the past 2 weeks... But things happen I guess :)

Muscles still looking full and vascular, endurance is still apparent as well :)

how long are you letting it dissolve? there is a great video on will brinks site where he talks about getting the most of your creatine.
you should stir it until its completely in solution. this will greatly reduce any of the grit you are drinking. basicaaly stir it until there is nothing swirling at the bottom of the glass, then drink it.

Since you brought it up everyone should see and do this...Great information!!

Life happens. At least you get up and in again!

^^^ You got it man!!

Right so today was chest and shoulders... Hate training chest on a Monday, normally do it later in the week as EVERYONE trains chest haha.

1 scoop of creatine energy in warm water with some flavouring... Off I go to kill it!

Decided to train without headphones today for a change, quite liked it! Still hit decent weight so might keep training like this for a while.

Chest

Flat Bb bench-

Bar x 10
135x 10
175x 8
225x 3 (paused reps) 4 sets
265x 2 paused (slingshot) 3 sets
265x AMRAP (slingshot) 1 set
135x failure

Flat DB bench-

65x 12
75x 10
90x 8
100x 6

Didn't go heavier than that... Don't want to risk my shoulder.

Pec dec-

80x failure (4 sets)

Seated chest press-

90x failure, negatives and pausing.. This was a killer! (4 sets)

That's it for chest.

Shoulders

Side DB lateral raises-

30x failure into 15x failure (5 sets)

Standing Arnold press-

40x failure... This is so hard when standing!!! I can do 45's for failure so easily when seated!

4 sets^^

Rear felt DB fly's-

30x failure, alternating grip every 6 reps (4 sets)

Plate loaded Shrugs (deadlift machine thing)-

265x failure (3 sets)

Actually did something in my back on the last set!! So stopped there and went on to cardio.

Cardio

20mins of stair climbing- 220cals

So all good for today and really happy with my bench strength considering I haven't benched heavier than 175 for at least 10weeks.

Endurance is up, strength is clearly up and muscle fullness is bang on :)

Strong benching man! That's pretty impressive after taking all that time off the heavier weights.

Yep good to see you got in the 'neglected by most' cardio!

Are you calling me out?

Just a small update today... Took creatine as usual this AM.

It's funny because I've never noticed anything from creatine before but I have definitely noticed changes with this, both physically and aesthetically.

No weights today as I think I have a trapped nerve again. I've realised I get this from shrugs. No more shrugs now, just upright rows instead.

Hopefully back to action tomorrow, maybe just arms though so I don't strain anything.

Cardio-

no cardio at the gym today however I made sure to do a lot of walking at work today, my job makes me walk around a lot anyway but I made sure to take the longer routes and also more stairs. Easily walked 2 maybe 3 miles today.

Skip shrugs, do more deads. :)

Exactly man! I find that rows and dreads build my traps like crazy anyway. I don't really need to isolate, it's a strong body part for me.

It is for me too. I find that anytime I rep DLs they get way more sore than on shrugs.

So day was arms and cardio as my back isn't 100%.

1 scoop of creatine in warm water and off to the gym I went.

Arms-

Seated alt curls- 35x failure (4 sets)

Standing hammer curls- 45x failure (4 sets)

Incline curls- 25x failure (4 sets)

Reverse curls- 45x failure (4 sets)

Flat Skull Crushers- 75x failure (4 sets)

Incline Tate press- 40x failure (4 sets)

Machine dips- 205x failure (4 sets)

Tricep kickbacks- 30x failure (4 sets)

That was it for the arm workout.

Cardio-

10mins incline power walk
10min stair
10min stationary bike

Calories burned- 230

So far all good on this journey with creatine, energy was fine too. Nothing crazy as its only 100mg caffeine. Normally takes me 200+ to feel it so in surprised I do actually feel this.

Good $#!t

Thanks guys. I would normally throw in some heavy CGBP too but didn't have time today.

Been trying to hit 225x5
Currently hitting 225x2

I can see your arms growing from here!

I can see your arms growing from here!

Haha lets hope so!

So today my back still isn't 100% again but decided on a back day haha, I started out light few a few exercises and slowly progressed... Glad to say I had no issues.

1 scoop of creatine in warm water with an added caffeine tab making 200mg caffeine.
Nice perk up and I was off to the gym.

Back

Deadlifts-

5mins of stretching, static and dynamic to loosen everything up.

Bar x10
135 x10
225 x5
315 x2

Working set-
3" defecit speed work 350x 3 [3sets]

Could have easily jumped up to 405x 3 but decided to not push it too hard this week.
Speed is good, form is good and im really concentrating on driving from my heels.. Makes a huge difference.

BB Rows-

Though today id just go HAM with rows.

315x 6 [2sets].. Form a little sloppy but generally good!
225x failure [3 sets]
135x 25 [1set]

Smith machine row... Really like this-

135x failure, only giving myself a 5sec break. [4 rounds of rows]

Seated rows-

405x failure [3sets]

DB Rows [standing]-

80x failure [3sets]

Wide grip pullups-

BW x8-10 [3sets]

I think that was it for back today... Would have liked to throw a couple extra exercises in but it was cardio time!

Cardio-

20mins stair master thing- level 10, quite high intensity, would alternate between fast paced and normal. [HIIT]
300cals burned.

Upping all cardio to 300 now :sad3:

Energy great and endurance also great... Strength has increased for sure. Nothing mind blowing but still an increase.

Thanks brother, nice to be back at it again..

The creatine?

Summer fruits, orange, apple, lemon and I think that's it so far.

Why's that?

Oh haha... I did wonder if that was the case.

Didn't realise you had one yet though.

Seems like such a great company to work for, everything people recommend of give feedback on seems to get noticed and something is done about it.

Plus some of the amazing products you guys have too make it fantastic. I've had 3 of your products so far, hopefully more to try soon :)

Great looking back session !!!

Homeless ex REP

Funny

Thanks man... Feel lost now I'm not a rep.

Weird because I wasn't a rep for a long time, just got used to being one I guess.

Did they leave AM?

They did. Obviously we were not notified as reps which was lovely.

They shifted away from pretty much all online sales and are mainly going to sell in retail stores instead.

Supposed "complications".

Think it was mainly because they were called out for not posting lab results as promised.

Their other products for good reviews apart from one guy who had no effects at all. Think it may have been GodStrength from memory.

We're were just bummed about not being kept in the loop. We all worked hard and backed the company, responded to questions etc.

Yet we were just cut looses all of a sudden.

Haha rocket is very direct... Think we would both love that opportunity!

I have worked in sales my whole life, one of the first lessons I learned was, you are never going to get the sale unless you ask !!

Haha rocket is very direct... Think we would both love that opportunity!

We will keep this in mind if an opening or expansion comes up.

Thanks for the love.

This is a popular action by a lot of businesses. It's for protection, really. Some people like to "go out in a blaze of glory".

Appreciate it man. Your a good guy.

Also a side note, I just realised I've probably only got maybe a week left of this stuff.

Wow that's gone quick!

EDIT: yeah I realise a lot of business do that as a move, I think we were just more disappointed about not being told it was going to be a sudden thing.

Ya that is pretty crappy Grinnell how they just folded on you guys like that. I am sure both you and Rocket will end up with new gigs soon though..
