Enclomifene

So I've seen people on here say that there is no different between this and regular clomid. However with that being said. Enclomiphene is the anti-estrogenic isomer where Zuclomifene is the estrogenic isomer. Regular Clomid has both isomers where as enclomiphene preparation is just the anti-estrogenic isomer. The Zuclomifene is actually a anti gonadotropin. Whereas enclomiphene is a pro gonadotropin. Explaining why normal, Clomid works. Enclomiphene has a half-life of about 6 to 8 hours. Zuclomiphene has a half-life of about a week to possibly longer. What is everyone's thoughts?

Yeah a US drug company tried to bring Enclomiphene to the market a few years ago, for the above stated science , it has pro-gonatropic effects in males without the estrogenic effect from the racemic mixture. The added benefit of there is no money for drug companies to make on studies on clomid use for males since clomid is such an old drug and patents are expired. The company was selling it as TRT alternative for men who wanted to preserve fertility, and an infertility treatment in men with low sperm counts. The studies looked fairly promising , the FDA shot it down before it could come to market. I read some critique on it and I want to say if I remember right they tried to argue that the benefits of raising testosterone in males were not outweighed by the risks of raising test based on extrapolated TRT studies , and they were worried about off-label use and abuse of it for performance enhancement

That's so lame. Goes to show pharm medicine is not for the publics best interest.

Was called Androxal. Allergan owns the rights now and the drug was shelved. Been discussed many times on here. The FDA doesnt want men to be men. Just women to be men and vice versa

Pretty sad. Hopefully enclomifene can become more available to men who need it. Whether a prescription or for research purposed.
