Been to the therapist twice...she has a hard time getting one of my neck discs into place.

Sucks, but hey....Atleast something is happening.

This is a clip of an aerobic class using the xco tube.

I used to give those classes myself actually.

The tube is filled with grid...you try to move that from one side to the other with explosive movements.

It gives reactive impact...you stop the tube, and the stuff inside hits the end creating reactive impact.

This way you target the connective tissue.


The xco was developed by a dutch Physical therapist who works a lot with baseball players(injuries of the shoulder)

It looks easy, but I can tell you it kicks your ass when preformed correct.

Did do some very light chest work today.

8 sets of incline dumbbell fly's with a baby weight of 30,8lbs dumbbells x 15 reps.

Better than nothing I guess. See how it feels tomorrow;)

Sometimes when they adjust things that have been messed up it causes everything around it to adjust also which can cause some pain. Tight things being suddenly stretched back out and held that way can cause for some reflex contractions that can cause a bit of pain. Definitely ask them what they think though.
 
Very cool idea with the tube! I hope things are feeling better for you now though! :(
 
Getting pretty frustrated with my injury.

Doesn't really seem to get better. Sucks with my job too...have to catch students when doing gymnastics etc.

Did back last week, and some light dumbbell fly's. Sucked.

Only thing that is going pretty good is legs(even my knee which has been bothering me for over 4 years)

Managed to work up plate loaded incline leg press weight to 704lbs:)

Did some legs again today in another gym...see if I can go over the 704lbs on thursday.

Glad you're able to get some leg work in and your knee is behaving! Keep your head up! Hopefully it will be healed up soon!

Had to fight some depression...not really enjoying my work outs and didn't feel like logging.

Did my work outs the best I could...even did some chest(not too light I must say..hahaha)

Overall not the best state of mind last week.

Ok...I 'll stop this BS and get my act together.

This week shall be my week...yeah buddy, nothing but a peanut;)

Did legs yesterday.

Went pretty well, even had a decent pump(that's been awhile since I had that with legs)

Squats, leg presses and walking lunges...

176lbs x 12/ drop 143lbs x 10/ drop 110lbs x 9

Super set dumbbell fly and hex press

2 supersets...both exercises between 12/16reps

Chest press machine
50reps (dropping weight when failing, until reaching 50reps)

Incline bench front raises
2 sets of 20 reps

Lateral raise
2 sets of 20 reps

Preacher curl plate loaded machine
2 sets of 25 reps

Very soor right now....

Love the muscle ache, but my colarbone/ muscle problem is still there.
 
At least it's not keeping you from training. Don't know if that's a good thing. We can be stubborn through injuries. I know I am.
