editing avatar settings

As the title says, just trying to figure out how to upload a new avatar. I resized it down below 19.5 kb, and it is still saying the image is too large :think:

Not sure how to tell, it is below the max of 19.5 kb though, and it says as long as you are below one of the maximums, everything should be cool.....?
 
It is below the maximum in size but it might not be in dimensions. You have to make it smaller is all I can tell you.

EDIT: The size is 20,000 bytes so if the pic is over 19.53kb it won't fit since 1kb equals 1024 bytes. Anyway I raised the limit but that is why it isn't working. You have to think in terms of bytes.

Thanks man. Ill figure it out. I am just comp illiterate :think:
 
Also, try Invalid Link Removed to change the dimensions (right click on the photo and click Properties to check the dimensions)
