Dual Log, Anabolic Algorithm Stack (sponsored by MAN)

I hear ya. When I workout after work, I have ditched the runs as my stack is giving me horrible pumps in lower legs. It doesn't happen in the mornings, but figure it is due to food intake and the fact that I by that time I have also ingested about 1.5 gallons of water.

Little BP update for you. Today 126/72 & 134/68. cswalczakny suggested I take C0q10 to bring it down. That and 2.5-3 gallons of water a day seems to have worked.

Frozen coffee?

Yeah, for emergencies. Sometimes getting up at 0330 catches up to me and I pound some coffee after lunch. It's usually defrosted by 1-2pm.

I didn't take a Pre-workout this morning because of the chance that we would have a urine screening, with block leave ending yesterday.

2 mile run @ 0715

2 PR-XT with a scoop of Protein

Breakfast was scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, 2 chkn sausage patties, applesauce, blueberries, and grapes. And 2 V-8's

Took pre-workout at 1100, and hit the gym at 1135.

I executed this workout as best I could, PR's across the board. I know I have squatted more than this, but Jefit isn't showing it so this is the new standard. And PR's on the rest because they are totally new!!

As you can see, my squats ended abruptly, I got a sharp pain in my hip joint again (R groin) and I even strained my left inner hammy. Geez.
I stopped before anything got severe so a good stretch and a couple days I will be good.

I enjoyed the new moves, especially the meadows stretchers. I should have done 4 sets on everything, but I mentally talked myself to 3, and I regret it. Gotta get some more motivation.

Lunch- chicken breast and corn/spinach/tomatoes

Lunch 2- hibachi shrimp/veggies/rice

Dinner- protein shake so far, don't think I will eat anymore. We'll see!

Nice job bro! The fact that you're doing squats after double hip surgery is amazing. Don't push too far, buck make sure you hit failure. If you need to, lower your weights, change the tempo and up your reps.

My sets may be down a little today. I asked the 11 year old if he wanted to work out this morning and he said yes. IF he wakes up, I don't think he will want to do this again... lol. I'm thankful that he wants to though!

I bought some 2 pounds weight and my 4 yer old will pick em up and mimic my movements. I am trying to teach her proper form, but at 4 you can hardly tell them anything. She can do a few pushups properly though, then the her butt starts to do a different exercise on its own

It went better than I expected. He kept up and destroyed Chest + Core! I was worried I'd get banned because our gym minimum age is 16. Lol

Yeah, we worked on form today. I have to un-teach him stuff the biological taught him. :)

I can't wait to teach my son, either. He already does squats while holding a gallon of milk and does assisted pullups :D

My son is a very competitive hockey player up here in Toronto and will be going to school in the fall to be a police officer. I got him lifting 4-5 years ago. Oddly, it was a pretty proud moment when recently he surpassed me in most of my lifts.

Nice. I can see being proud of your son for out lifting you, that means you did something right. On the other hand, if my daughter ever out lifts me... Might be time to hop on some gear or retire!! :)

a) I added two extra DB presses after my supers-sets were finished, and also did some core exercises, including weighted decline crunches, side raises, and a couple that I don't know the names of that I learned from P90X.

I'll probably do them at least once a month. Especially if I ever do tris on the same day as chest. The guy that told Drew about them suggested SS'ing them with DB pullovers. It was a good WO altogether. Kiddo was beat too! He said he needs a rest day tomorrow. Lol

I took my first 2 servings of PR-XT at breakfast and lunch. I had so much work to do today that I didn't get to the gym until about 1800.

For lunch I had another protein shake, but with 2 scoops (half whey and half casein)

Post workout was a protein shake and a giant burger. That was also dinner.

I am NEVER going to that gym again at that time. All of the so called lifters or what have you were there, and they were taking up space and equipment, and just getting in my fukkin way. This douche had the 35's, 40's, 45's, and 50's DBs sitting under his bench while he lazily did curls, on a bench. Ahhh!!!

All new motivation to wake early and get my lifts in.

The BB shovels were new and exciting, and they smoked me good. The 45# annotated was just the bar. I had a stellar bun going and even had to take some mid set breathers.
I was at total muscle failure after those hex presses and flys, and again after the DB bench press. I started with the hex presses going really slow and holding at top and bottom. I could have put up more weight, but the selection was minimal and I made the best of it.
I am getting totally jacked, and the pumps from these workouts are nothing short of amazing. I am controlling my hunger a bit with small doses of caffeine throughout the day.

Onward and upward!!!
 
So I was doing those shovels today and I had some people that couldn't stop staring. But they weren't acting like douche's, i believe they were impressed. I had veins popping out everywhere.
I definitely worked it like a champ. I really need to get some footage of these exercises.
