Maybe I missed it but why such high rep work?

Yeah, just trying to burn more calories. I am going to do 3 high volume weeks and 1 heavy week, and repeat.

Is there a reason I shouldn't be doing this? I believe my strength is going up, based on my 1RM calculations. We will see this week.
I appreciate any insight/input you have on this matter.

No not at all if it works for you then keep doing what your doing :) it's not for me personally I like to lift heavy an low reps, I feel lifting heavy actually burns more calories as it takes so much more effort on every rep. IMO anything over 12-15 reps is kinda like cardio by weights. It all comes down to personal preference in the end tho!

PR's in all except bench press. I got stuck under the damn barbell with 205 on it. Tweaked my shoulder trying to dump the weight.

8.4 pounds lost in 2 weeks. Not bad!! I am going to up my protein a bit and maybe increase cals slightly. I am worried about losing muscle, but I feel like I am gaining muscle.

Yeah, those high reps are wearing me out, and these low heavy reps feels like I am not doing enough work ( yes I am going to failure). I may adjust my high volume weeks to 12-15 rep range.

Sleep like a baby, and the dreams are great. I do notice however that it is getting harder to wake up. This could be because of work related stress, or because of reduced calorie intake.

Sho did. That is good news. I guess the high volume is doing pretty good.
I would have set a PR in bench had I done a proper warm up. The first exercise for me serves as my warm up, so it isn't as good as it could be. And subsequent exercises are stellar.

Have you thought about floor presses, or maybe doing a max set in a squat rack? That may not be an option if your racks are popular, but at the time I go no one really uses them. I just forget to do it on chest day.

Yeah, i could do it on the squat rack. You mean put stops to prevent accidents?

Yes. Right at the chest so you still get mostly a full movement, but you can attempt those heavier sets and not worry about your shoulders.

On another note, my endocrinologist has just upped my TRT dose to 150mg every 2 weeks. Another bump up and I will be about where I want it. If 100 E2W is keeping my test at 280 ish, then 150 E2W should put it at 450 or so . Who knows

Well, to those with low T I am, but I would rather my nuts be producing enough T to have me up in the 900-1000 range. That would be lucky.



I have not been able to start IF, I am too dependent on my breakfast. And, Ripped Cocktail crushes my appetite, so I am just not eating much. I need to do a cal count today and see where I am at.
 
I don't know what the deal is. I am hungry for breakfast, then no appetite for the rest of the day. I am just going to have to pound calories at breakfast time!!

I could sure use that feeling right about now. I am having a lot of problems with evening cravings..

I left because I was about to punch some crossfitter motherfukkers in the mouth. I sh!t you not as soon as I pulled a weight off of my barbell, they came and snatched it up, so I didn't have an option of putting weight back on.

So, for those of you that were in my last log, remember I was on the hunt for my first PH cycle. Well, i think I have it. I really want to try SD, but I feel I should definitely wait until cycle 2 or 3.

Due to the hype, i ordered 2 bottles of Mithras. I am wondering if I can stack it with Finaflex 1 Alpha? Or Methylstenbolone? If I stack it with M sten, i would def have to keep the cycle short. If I use 1-Alpha, I can bridge from mithras into 1-alpha for a 5-6 weeke

Ripped Cocktail should do great for the appetite suppressant!

I quit cold turkey on Dec 28, and put on 15lbs of fat from then until Feb 4 when I started counting macros and keeping up with fitness.
I don't know how bad her habit was/is, but mine was BAD. She can do it, and its possible that she'll have moments for the rest of her life that she craves them. I do. But I also know if I smoke one, or more, that I'll just have to start worrying about quitting again. Good luck to her bro! It's tough for a couple months!
