My brother posted on FB something about how he was thankful that they were going to crack down on food stamps paying for steaks, seafood, and other high priced items. Some guy responded, pissed off that he shouldn't be allowed to have steak just because he needs assistance. He just couldn't understand why his lifestyle should have to change funded by other people.... DB, IMO.

Unfortunately neither party can touch food stamps. Way too many people on the dole today. If Republicans were to cut it off, they would be doomed for ages.

But yeah. I've been in line at the grocery and a young kid in his 20's has his own food stamp card. Buying sushi.
