I used to like to do that but my gym is so packed most days I can't bring it with to the floor.

I wish all jobs would post the wages that they're offering so I don't waste my time and their time.

Interviewer: So this job pays $10 an hour, maybe $10.50 depending on what position you get and its only part time. Well, you may be on call, too, and you'll have to do this, this, that, and that.

In my head: Why didn't you tell me this on the phone?!?!??

Exactly!!!! I've been so livid about interviewing, I'm thinking about just living off my savings. Why have me put down my previous wages if you're not even going to come close to it?!?

No, most of the places that have done wage hikes like that don't change it immediately.

Usually they are smaller increases that have to be $15 by a certain time (typically a few years in the future).


Don't really agree with a $15 min. wage anyway, but that's another topic entirely.

I don't think so yet. A 16 year old kid does not deserve $15 an hour.
 
Just because they're 16? That ain't right either. It isn't anyone else's problem that you have more bills to pay. If the 16 year old kid is more useful to their company/boss than you are to your company/boss then tough ****. Find another job or be more useful and get more money.

Not speaking at anyone in particular. Just saying age shouldnt matter if its a similar job. Now a 16 yo working to stock shelves at Walmart vs someone with a degree working a low paying entry level job - i agree that the 16 yo doesn't deserve 15$/hr over the other person. But, that still isnt because of their age.

You know what's going to happen? Those 16 year olds are not going to get those jobs anymore. Employers are going to start seeking people with better qualifications.

My friend is a manager and she said that once the raise hits, she's only going to hire people with experience and who deserves it.

That question was not directed at you. That question is simply what more employers will ask when seeking potential employees to fill minimum wage jobs.

On leg day, it may seem douchie, I purposely grab the farthest 45's from the leg press and walk them back. I also put them back where I found them on the plate racks. Nice little farmer walk workout.
 
I always try to farmer's walk with 45s, great shoulder/trap builder in between exercises.

I will. It was a hard decision to spend so much money but I figured that it was an investment. I wear my headphones everywhere.

Best Buy price matches so I got them for $159.
 
The wireless over the ear beats are bulky, but I love them. I will never go back to another headphone.

.... And pooks if I dont like those I'll gladly take them off your hands for a fair price

I couldn't find my LG Tones so I've been using my Skull Candy wired headphones. The long wire is so annoying! Lol, I feel like part of the Dbag team now. :p

that is a great price- i paid 199 for mine a few years ago. i havent switched because i love them- they are a great set of headphones, especially for drowning out all those D bags in the gym

I got a pair of wireless over-ear headphones for my birthday. Game changer. I can finally deadlift and still listen to my own music and not the bull**** the gym plays

I'm sayin. I have some of the Sound Sport ones. The only thing that sucks is they aren't wireless.

On another note, I had to buy a new MacBook charger. Darn you, Apple! Ghetto rigging it only lasted about 2 weeks.

I have a set of beats and like them. my buddy has a set of sonys and I'm not going to lie that his sound made me a tad bit jealous... and he, got em for 100$
