Today at the gym I'm going to conciously attempt to be the gym douchebag. Any ideas what I can do?
ask people to work in to their sets, but do totally opposite exercises when you work in to make it more complicating.

I'm training at a new gym today and it's leg day. This sh*t always gives me anxiety. Please don't let anyone be at the Power rack or squat rack!!!![]()
Luckily I've never had that problem.

I think there's 8 squat and 5 power racks total.

Jesus christ! That looks like heaven!
Pray you're not at MY gym when I'M there. :chairshot:
Is that you in the avatar? I think I see you today over by the mirror curling 10lb dumbbells and doing this between sets
:spank:
It is. It would take a ton of pictures to cover all the equipment. I just added a pic of one of the dumbbell racks to my original post.
Luckily I've never had that problem.

Edit:
And possibly one of the worlds largest dumbbell racks.

Just saw that. INSANE!
Damn! What gym is this?!?
There's about 50,000 sq ft with different areas/rooms about the same size as the free weight room in the pics. A good portion of the middle of that room is lined with flat and incline benches.

It's a privately owned gym a few minutes outside of Boston that's pretty much "douche free" as well. There's a good mix of younger people, older people, athletes, amateur competitors, and pros, most of which take their training pretty seriously.
That's insane! I should have checked it out when I was in Boston.
You definitely get what you pay for at that gym!
If you ever come back, let me know and you can have a free week pass.
^ omg that is so gross, I really don't like going to a bench or a seat and its covered with sweat. I carry a hand sanitiser bottle with me too![]()
Every time I find fresh sweat of a woman on a bench, I put my scent on it:

Maybe I'm the douche...
There's signs all over the gym that reminds you to wipe your machine after you're done. The chick who works here used the leg press machine and after she was done, she moved over to the power rack. I grabbed the spray bottle as she was looking and sprayed and wiped down the leg press machine....
I hope she feels embarrassed.
My gym bought all these mom and pop gyms and they're all whole in the walls. This one that I tried today was pretty empty but there's no room to do anything. Here's all the room I had for deads....

A lot of you guys have a ton of negativity right now.
How is that not enough room? I train out of a 190 sq. ft. shed and I've got enough room to train so I'm sure you could've done just fine.
Then I guess its a good thing you weren't doing traveling dead lifts.
Here's a novel idea! If no one is using the rack for squats you could always deadlift in the rack!
I've never dead in the rack and I usually squat outside of the rack, too. I don't know, being in a closed space kinda freaks me out!
Now... If you have told him previously not to leave his shît around, and he still did it... Ok, that's a different story.
Sorry, but you also sounded kinda like a d-bag here... Just trying to clarify
He actually did do just that . . . later on.
The guy KNEW he should re-rack his dumbells, and he intentionally left them there. So I brought them to him.
If you want to call ME a d-bag for that, then right back at'cha pal. I have no patience for intentionally ignorant people.
