Fair enough, I hate just about all political groups so it is what it is with me, check the many years of my history here, Im hard on just about most of them including 1/2 of my infiltrated Libertarian party. Im very strong on defending people's freedom of religion too and Im not someone I consider myself religious.

You need to understand framing. When they needed to make covid appear more serious than it was, they used terms that purposely obfuscated reality: 'covid cases up 1162%'. OK, % over what? What were the cases before? If they were being honest, they'd give the actual numbers, but those numbers don't lie.
In this case, the tell is 'highest in 3 years'. Why frame it in a 3 year increment? 5 or 10 maybe, or historically over 50 years, but 3? It's obvious: before 3 years ago, it was higher under Biden, but we don't want to talk about that.

No need to over analyze it and what the article said about a few years ago its just a point from then to now. The data came out today. Inflation is going up right now right in front of us, price of everything and life is going up and the dollar is continually being printed out of thin air devaluing my savings. At least my house is worth more I guess so Im not all doom and gloom lol.
Alot of the effects from 3 years ago was Trumps policies spending trillions and printing more money than the entire of our countries history combined. People were loving their checks, I was in here 6 years ago warning its going to cause inflation and it doesnt happen overnight. Yeah the guy after no better but thats the torch trump passed, big spending and big printing, massive consequences to big government spending and intervention. MAGA never takes personal responsibility for their disastrous policies.
Tomorrow PPI numbers come out 8:30 in the morning, generally the Fed looks at that more so than CPI numbers but we will see how Warsh represents the FOMC meeting in the very near future next week on June 16 or 17 and if he sounds hawkish or dovish on rate cuts, in which its not all in his control with a single vote.
