Too many republicans are essentially place holders for progressives. I don’t see anything happening. For something happening below government level I think things will have to get much worse because going against them is essentially risking your livelihood or life. Local protections is the only thing in their way. Hopefully enough states continue to exercise the 10th amendment.

This is all part of equity. You can not make people equally intelligent, athletic, beautiful moving the bar upwards; this can only be done by lowering the bar. It’s in everything progressives do. Equity really means moving society to a lowest common denominator. It’s really the only way possible logically. For example I will never be as smart as a Tesla. The only way for equity there is to suppress a Tesla type to my level. Everyone should reject this. Great people raise society, but they are treated as a burden. It is an embrace of mediocrity.

China on Wednesday (March 22) hit back at US criticism of Beijing’s efforts to push for peace talks to end the fighting in Ukraine as Chinese President Xi Jinping concluded his three-day visit to Moscow.
National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told reporters on Tuesday (March 21) that China was not “impartial” due to its relationship with Russia, comments that drew a rebuke from the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
“The US says China’s position cannot be seen as impartial. Does that mean pouring weapons into the conflict should be seen as impartial? Does that mean causing the crisis to escalate should be seen as impartial?” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said.
Wang described Xi’s trip to Moscow as a “journey of friendship, cooperation and peace” and called on the US to stop stoking the conflict in Ukraine. “We call on the US to reflect on its own role in the Ukraine issue, stop fueling the flames, and stop deflecting the blame on China. We will continue to stand firm on the side of peace and dialogue,” he said.

I understand that this is a complicated issue....
But China is Definitely not impartial. They probably want what their ally, Russia wants.
Now that Russia has seen that they can't just march in and take the whole country, they are suddenly open to "peace talks'.
You know.... Where "both sides win".
Their idea of both sides winning, is Russia settling for only taking part of their country (for now)... Along with other concessions. .... You know, in the interest of "peace".
They are only willing to settle for less, because they couldn't take All.
Regardless of how anyone feels about Ukraine, what country on earth would want to surrender "only part" of their own country, and independence?

You kinda missed the point. The point is when the west says you can’t attack another country while attacking other countries constantly is a joke to non westerners. When the west try’s to discredit countries for being impartial while consistently being impartial at a higher level it isn’t taken seriously from non westerners. You could go on and on with this type of thing.

You are trying to turn this into a moral conversations about “this countries invasions are different than that countries invasions…” it’s irrelevant.
The point is using the term impartial as a grounds to have moral and political superiority while being anything but impartial is pure hypocrisy.
I interjected a couple other examples that could have thrown this off unintentionally.

Yea we can agree to disagree. I think for us to understand each others positions would take a much larger conversation than a few posts on the forum. Plus I don’t think we would agree at the end of it. I don’t think anti-war types convince pro interventionists to change or vice Versa very often.

There is always some form of degeneracy in leftist priorities. You see it even in their greatest thinkers/philosophers. You tell normal people supporting leftists this and they say “oh no that’s like just that one guy” or “well I don’t support that part” and it’s like no, you do support it and it isn’t one guy.
That is part of why I dislike democracy. I know a ton about like maybe 2 subjects voting effects and it is bc I find it fascinating. What are the chances most people actually deep dive the things they vote for? What are the chances they are swindled by foxes to vote against their own interests?
