check out his version of 'My Way'...'kentucky rain' and the classic 'Suspicious Minds'

elvis was amazing-THE KING

elvis was truly a good and generous man-check out 'i have a dream' dedicated to MLK, he had a tear in his eye-his people say he went backstage and cried after singing this...in the ghetto is another good one by Elvis!!!

but yes, you are right his gospel music is what he was most proud of!!!!

Those are great!

A couple of my favorites I found on my own that dont seem to be as popular are Long Black Limousine and He’ll Have to Go.

Social Distortion is a fairly hard punk-ish band with a sort of odd Johnny Cash influence. They are from Orange County, CA. I believe they excel at songs having a maximum of three cords.

Bruce Springsteen loved them.

I've seen them several times. They were regulars at the House of Blues at Downtown Disney. When I was gping through my divorce, I saw them three times one week. One of my ex-Disney friends was the operations manager (and she HATED my ex-wife), so concerts were free (for me). It helped keep my sanity.

Years later, I had to apologize to my wife after taking her to see them (I made up for it later by taking her to see Maroon Five/Three Doors Down/Counting Crows).

I have this theory that real music should make you want to punch someone in the thorax. This seems to do that.

Here are a few of their wonderful song stylings: Invalid Link Removed Invalid Link Removed Invalid Link Removed

Enjoy.

Punk isn’t my top genre but I can see how they would be a blast to watch live.

I think I like don’t take me for granted the most out of those 3.

The most punk I’ve ever enjoyed was on the Spaghetti Incident and some Duff McKagen solo stuff who is a natural punk rocker, basically anything related to guns and roses is the best, if GNR did Baroque Classical music GNR would do it best, or if GNR did Liberace, GNR would do it best lol

This is the all time best punk rock song and performance I’ve ever heard, but I’m biased

This came out before even the Illusion album came out (song was put on Spaghetti years later) with the premier of Civil War at a Farm Aid concert. I think this is Steven Adler’s last ever GNR performance before drugs got him out I’d the band.

I fooking love Neil Young, Nash, stills,
And I still do even the he has confused his mouth with his arsehole.

Certainly don't agree with Young and jre is the most interesting show besides shapiro since el rushbo passed.

Again, if LeBron james would just dunk the ball ...be a role model not a athlete activist.

Down by the river...I killed my baby...

I bet you’ve heard them and just don’t know it was them. They were really popular a few years back.

In all honesty last night in Walmart was the first time I ever heard those songs.

I dunno why, maybe its because I dont listed to radio anymore, and when I was younger I used to get alot of music froim MTV before they started airing nothing but pregnant teenager shows all day.

Headbanger's Ball on MTV in the 80s was an all time great show.

Pantera is damn good. I wish Dime Bag hadn’t been killed. They would still be around if he and Vinnie were still living.

I really miss the days of going to the cassette store and trying to pick out something....even when I was going through my later 90s early 2000s gangta rap stage.

I used to appreciate music a little more back then before the youtube days, or when you would have to wait for a song to randomly pop up on the radio that you love.

I still listen to ministry sometimes when I lift. Headbangers ball!! Yo MTV raps with Flava fav. And aeon Flux was the ****.

You want in, to get under my skin and call yourself my friend....

That's me with pretty much everything that's came out in the last 15 years lol. I know the words to a million songs but can't tell you the name of the artist lol

went to the grocery store today and had a freakout looking at prices....fuckyoujoebiden!!!

The prices at the grocery store are only expensive only because Fox news made you think it is. The prices have never been better.

At least thats what he would say lol.

on a more happier note check out a old bon jovi song--'in and out of love'...i really like it, think you will too.

lol...here in red state indiana it's $3.39

FJB-eh?
Over the past month we went up about 0.10 per week I think. Quite a few years ago it got up to 4.56 on summer, I paid $4.08 today. I got my driver's license almost exactly 20 years ago and it was $1.19

How much was gas when you got your license. Or was it horse and buggy back then?Invalid Link Removed

I used to love older Bon Jovi, that’s a good song…New Jersey and Slippery when Wet are great. Don’t like older Bon Jovi too much.

i remember 88 cents for leaded gas right before they got rid of it.
never was a smoker but when ship would go out 3 miles into international waters we could buy marlboros for 29 cents a pack--i would stock up and sell to the smokers when we got back in port.

Cant remember for sure, but I think we would get Mad Dog 20/20s for about 5 bucks, always got the grape because it was stronger than the other flavors.

I remember drinking this big bottle of Crazy Horse which turned me into a violent (not on people) azzhole, just felt like destroying shyt. WTF was in it???
