Ummm, so anyway. Yesterday I arrived at work and discovered that our hospital handed out little individual sized rainbow/pride flags ??@@&? The last thing they gave us was a magnet at Christmas saying “Our Heroes Wear PPE.” So let just say it takes great lengths for them to spend any kind of extra money for anything.
I didn’t even get it at first, and thought they were given out for another reason and coincidentally had the pride symbolism. I asked, and they said nope- it’s for gay pride week. Many of us were quite confused by this. Of all things, why is this brought into a hospital setting? Are we all supposed to stick it up our ass and go about our day? I’m all for gay people, but I just don’t get the point of mass supplying employees with rainbow flags in a hospital? Or any business/company for that matter.
Oh, I almost forgot- they supplied us with rainbow masks too! Not even medical grade….just some cloth. I’m like OK, this has Biden administration written all over it!

Are they gay people who are too timid to be in a ridiculous spectacle of a parade, or are they straight people looking for free condoms? Do they throw out handfuls of candy for the kids?
I would just skip the parade so I could just stay home and have sex

Im all for protecting the rights of gay people but this constant shoving it down your throat (or in your case, on mouth! LOL) is irritating.
I could get behind a gay pride "day" so we can use it as a history day for people to learn what it was like in the past and how much we have come forward, but a whole freaking month??? Come on man!

I agree with all that! I didn't even realize it was a whole month…Haha! I think gay people would agree that one day is enough. Have a parade and call it good! From what I hear, gay people aren’t bashful about skipping right to the main event anyway..
There were more than a few of us that found it highly suspicious that it would happen this year, when nothing of the sort has happened any other year ever.

No…I haven’t even touched either of them. I haven’t seen anyone running around with a flag or wearing the masks. We actually have 2 lesbians in our department, and I don’t even think they are impressed or see the point of these.

All I see is progress, and a total removal of religion from politics and a slow reinstatement of actual science into the political forum.
If a total removal of religion jsn't possible, then the freedom of religion should extend to all religions and also be considered in politics (I.e. Satanists).
But that's not even the real issues. The issues revolve around how lobbying works and senators having more ownership to lobbyist needs than the needs of the people. No way a senator should be a multimillionaire with shares in companies they receive lobbyist money for. You simply cannot be unbiased which such a strong conflict of interest.
And people finally saying no to low paid jobs is a HUGE plus and what Capitalism is all about. Isn't that the benefit of a free market? People can choose where they work, and what remuneration they believe they are worth. A lot of companies hire at 1 or 2 other short of what is required for people to receive benefits, and are often hired at such low, non guaranteed income rates that the threat of not being able to pay bills is high.
Have a genuine illness? People feel forced to work because otherwise they miss out on tips that make up the bulk of their wages.
Remember this, YOU are not a capitalist. The wealthy business owners, tycoons and the people who profit off others hard work are. You might fight for their right to exploit you, but people are now saying enough is enough.
If anyone makes more money in unemployment than by working, that business shouldn't be hiring. Period.

We still have alot of people being paid stolen money (indirectly taxed all americans via digital printing machine) all the way up until September thanks to big government socialist policies that Dump started last year that have been extended by the current regime.
There really is no incentive to go back to work even if minimum wage propped up to $20 an hour. With the government handouts these people are also exempt from Federal taxes as well.
