imagine that back in the 60s the colleges were anti-establishment, today colleges are anti-anyone who is anti-the diben government establishment.

On another note, I walked into my gym today and discovered that the mandatory mask signs were all gone! It felt so good to workout without one...on many levels.

I got home, and my GF informed me that our major grocery store chain lifted their mask mandate, except for unvaccinated employees. It’s great to see people walking around the street too without a mask.

While this gets me excited in my personal life, there will certainly be zero degree of normalcy at my job- which has been the most problematic aspect of any of this. :cautious:

i'm going to bet that vaccines aren't going to be more than 80% effective and all protection will be gone within 8 months...i didn't and will not get vaccinated, i imagine around the same time as protection wears off will be when the side effects start kicking in.

Well, I think we have all seen our fair share of penises and vaginas. If a third genitalia emerges from all of this, everyone is going to be more than intrigued by it. Everyone is going to want to play with them and it will be like turning 13 years old all over again!
 
Jeez, don’t I hate it when I get all settled in bed for the night and realize I forgot to take my sleep supplement. What if I fall asleep before I have the chance to get up and take it?

she is getting a 22 rifle for early christmas present from her dad--poppy chipped in a few bucks also!!! :love:

lots has changed since i quit drinking, they can now sell booze in liquor stores on sundays...odd though the price of beer and booze hasn't gone up nearly as much as gas and food have?
 
i could buy a lid of pot for $15 a oz for $20back in early 70s before sensemillia shot the price to $30 up to $50 bucks a oz....i haven't bough or smoked pot for over 20 years but i have heard the price has gone up a lot?

I don’t buy it in leaf form but I pay $35 for 1000mg of THC. Which is enough to get to get straight up couch locked every day for a couple weeks.

back in the 70s before i joined the military pot was a social thing-over at the nearby large park we would form a huge circle and sit crosslegged and pass joints around-blacks and whites united, getting stoned, lol. i can remember getting elbowed to take a joint with one still in my fingers-we would sometimes go through a ounce baggie sitting there listening to a 8-track boom box, lol.

i guess cops didn't think it was worth their time to hassle us since it meant getting out of their cars and chasing us on foot and we would all run in different directions--probably a big factor was we were almost 100% peaceful and never caused any issues with the people who were just there to enjoy the park---garfield park in indianapolis was a great place for teenagers to hang out at back in the 70s with virtually no victim crimes even though it was only about 1/2 a mile from one of the biggest projects, and was in a very poor neighborhood.
