OK...so funny story (depending on your sense of humor)
We have a pt that is a ward of the state at our hospital that has occupied a 2 person room for at least 3 years. She is overweight, severely diabetic, immobile, and hates everyone. We can’t get rid of her because every longterm care facility has refused to take her.
After complaining of shortness of breath, she tested positive for the China virus within the last week. She obviously got it from a staff member, so all the nurses that work on that floor are being tested.
Meanwhile, we don’t have any negative pressure capabilities left, so they just closed the door and maintenance makeshifted some sort of ventilation unit that blew air out the window. A few nights ago, we had a snowstorm, and somehow the fan managed to reverse- blowing air and snow from the outside directly on her while she was sleeping in bed. She woke up screaming, so nursing walked in to find her covered in snow
. It’s funny because she truly is a horrible person..
On another note, she repeatedly refuses her insulin yet she agreed to be treated with remdesivir, but refused dexamethasone. The hospitalists are reaching out to the state to change her code status to DNR/DNI as she is not expected to do well, and there would be nothing gained for anyone (including herself) if she were to be placed on a ventilator.

"Somehow?" Really, sounds like she had alot of enemies in there, but Im certain the fan reversed from natural causes.

Get this, last month driving to work with a colleague, we see a car stopped in traffic on other side, dude opens his door and casually puts a glass milk bottle down on the ground as he'd finished with it and thought the middle of the road was a good place for a frickin glass bottle, we stared in disbelief as he shouted some abuse at us for noticing what he did.

back in the day it was taboo to throw banana peels on sidewalks or parking lots, but the worst is seeing women throw a dirty diaper full of poop out car door followed by dirty wipes-totally disgusting!!!

So, I know this is a lot of numbers and none of us likes math - not a shot at anyone, just my observations - so I added that all up, minus the $10,000 in student loan forgiveness because who knows how many loans there are...
The total is $124B and change. 1M student loans would increase this number by $10B.
But there are 330,000,000 Americans in total in this country, so $600 each = $198B.
I find this enlightening because it shows how much Trump does fight for Americans. $2,000 each = $660B. If the politicians cannot agree to more than $900B in spending (which I am happy they have a limit they seem to agree on) - then this is about what I would see as fair for a Covid bail out - at least 2/3 of it should go to AMERICANS. <25% is not really acceptable.

Trump had personally signed the bump stock ban. His ATF and DOJ is actively trying to add more weapons to the NFA. This is fact. Please show me the last time the democrats have successfully instituted permanent gun ban? Closest they got was Clinton in 94. That bill sunsetted in 04. All the other gun bans and anti 2A legislation has a Republican signature on it.
So my question is: what has trump done in the last 4 years for gun rights other than take some rights away???

Judges have shown themselves to be cowards and largely useless. Saying Trump has done less damage compared to democrats is a bit of a cop out. The fact of the matter is he has done irreparable damage to our 2A. Democrats haven’t, he has. That’s like saying trump only put the tip in and democrats would have put the whole dick in. Which one committed rape here?
Trump is a criminal for his action and also his inaction. In my opinion he deserves the rope with the rest of them.

I find the US treat politics like sports teams. They ride or die one side and constantly make excuses for their team even when they lose.
From what I observe, Republicans see their party being "Christian" and see the Democrats as being "Satanist sinners" who hate America. Even with Trump in charge, they still play the "we are holy" card.
Most people I know will flip votes every election based on policies and competency. Politicians are not our friends. All should be scrutinized. They represent us, so they better do a good job. If I vote one party and they break promises, I will resent them next election. We should all demand better from our representatives.
If they just go around looking after the people with money, you best bet im going to be mad about it.
