Donald Trump running for president

Possibly, and I’m not saying you don’t have reason to be skeptical, but I also don’t underestimate the ineptitude of government at times, you know?

and see this is why I will never vote for a democrat, they want the government running everything it seems...

oh no, Yvonne Elliman is busted...wow, Yvonne was really hot back in the day.

Yvonne chaka kahn stevie nicks, geez, those girls sure could sing!!!

and see this is why I will never vote for a democrat, they want the government running everything it seems...

As opposed to those Republicans that are hands off? I see the Trump administration has given $7.7 billion to farmers to try and make up for losses due to tariffs. If he could get the US to file for bankruptcy, he would have done it already.

They don't have one singular goal, which should be serving the people who elected them. Instead it's separate interests and chaos.

Both parties want big government, m’kay.

The problem is we keep going back and forth between parties who claim the other one is big government, but they each just expand their preferred part of government when they’re in office, leading to government getting bigger no matter what, just in different ways every few years.

I guess it just comes down to who gets the money...I like farmers!!!

who do the dems want to give money to---people unwilling to work!!!

But making policies that require giving farmers subsidies is stupid. Especially when that money is coming from other hardworking people too. How about no unnecessary subsidies or handouts from bad policies?

speaking of medicare for all and doing away with private insurance....I wonder how many people are aware of the things medicare does NOT pay for?

how about the government give me back every cent I have paid into social security and medicare for the last 45 years and I will not care what they do!!!

That has nothing to do with what I said?

yes it does, as a hard working tax payer I am forced to pay into a socialist system.

like I said if I cried every time the government spent money on something I think is stupid I would have cried a river.

I think shadow government is far smarter than most of us. Average politician in Washington? Well they are the ones getting duped for the most part by the puppet masters. The top knows excactly what they are doing and they are very $$$uce$$ul at it.

Words are cheap. If you like farmers, then you would be upset that they're business is getting screwed over by Trump's pride. Farmers would prefer to make an honest dollar rather than watching crops rot and getting welfare money. That's something the Republican party stands behind as a whole by supporting Trump. One single Democrat wants to fund people unwilling to work and you want to pretend it's all of them.

Republicans used to be small government. Now it's all the same, but they still use the name to make themselves feel better.

you are right about farmers!!!

as far as one democrat being for a paycheck for not working...'UBI' unconditional basic income is nothing new.

Agreed. It's been attempted all over the world and philosophized to death. I'm not a fan for many reasons, but mostly because I don't think it stimulates progress. There might be a few people out there that push for new ideas or inventions, but most are just going to do the bare minimum because you're not getting paid more if you do.

And he wanted $20 million for a 10 game season from the AAF. That’s more money per game than every NFL QB not named Aaron Rodgers. He was definitely second string NFL talent, maybe even a low-tier starter, but not for the money he seems to have wanted, and not for the bad press and attention he’d bring. His talent didn’t justify his asking price OR his unwanted attention, yet alone BOTH. But some people say that he’s rather be viewed as a martyr now than to try to make a comeback, since a failed comeback would allow people to really say “see, he just wasn’t good enough, that’s all it was.” But there’s that uncertainty that can still be argued, so he can maintain his martyr status.

I’ll give a paycheck(and I make 6 figures, for the record) to anyone that can show me a white QB that went 1-11 in his last 12 starts that got what Kap demanded.

I’ll wait.

How is culture irrelevant or separate from skin pigmentation for black people? Your culture is more than likely based on the nationality of your ancestors. Most black people don't know what that is. They're black. They're from Africa. The road usually ends there, so that is their culture.

Explain to me how the gang culture of Chicago, which is very much black, is deeply rooted in Africa then.

Culture and race are completely different.

Word, everyone has their own culture niche no matter what color or country your from.

I wonder what those who claim to belong to a "black culture" would think about these people? I know people Ive been around friends (who happened to be black whatever that means) would probably throw that "whitey" word around. Its just so silly, nobody owns culture based on region or tanned.

Lol. He demanded more per game than any QB in the history of the sport not named Aaron Rodgers. The Packers were 6-9-1 this year, but not 1-11 lol, and we all know Rodgers is leagues above Kaep as a QB. You’re making a safe bet here, because it’s never happened.

He demanded 20 million a year from that new football league...he is crazy. He could have used it as a launching point to try to revive his career as those players are allowed to opt out of their 3 year contract (designed to keep players away from the XFL) for the NFL. He is out of his mind. Not only did he suck as a QB, but now he has been inactive for a long time and he is not young anymore. Who would really want him now plus with the baggage he carries to a professional team? But that’s just my opinion.

I don’t think he actually wants to try to revive his career unless an NFL team offers him a deal, if that. If he plays in the AAF/XFL/etc. and doesn’t ball out, then people could say “see, he isn’t an NFL caliber talent anymore, that’s why no team signed him.” But if he doesn’t even try with a lesser league, he can hold on to his martyr status.

First off, gang culture includes whites and a very large population of hispanics. Latin Kings started in Chicago. I never said that gangs are deeply rooted in Africa because I'm not a racist ****tard. In fact, your statement says a lot about you. You're obviously not from Chicago and only get your info about it secondhand or this wouldn't even be a question. I said that black race and culture are the same because black people don't get to ever know what country they originated from like whites do...want to guess why? So because of that, most black people identify as just being black where white people get to be white and Irish or white and Polish, etc. White people get to wear green and act like drunk *******s while celebrating another country and complaining about immigrants coming here.

So explain to me why you are assuming that all black people are in gangs?

$20 million isn't based on talent or athletic ability. The AAF needs Kaepernick more than he needs them as he seems to be doing fine with cash. I'm not a fan of Kaepernick and have no opinion on him playing in anything or anywhere, but this is about marketing. It's the same reason that the AAF went after Tebow. They need a big name to bring in viewers which equals advertising and that's how they would make money. Even if people tuned in to watch him fail, that's still viewers so it doesn't matter if he attracts people for good or bad reasons.

I’ll tell you this, if Kap signed it would definitely have my interest and I’ll at least tune in his first game. It’s true. Would love to have him and Tebow sign. Although, I’m rooting for Mr. McMahon to suceed.

Anybody wishing a decent human being including Kap to fail is a douchbag.

Either way, they’re struggling to pay players at $750k, so $20mil wasn’t even on the table for them. And no sports league trying to be viewed as even somewhat legitimate (they want to be a sort of D-league for the NFL it seems) will pay a backup NFL QB more than every NFL QB except one. I do understand the idea of him being worth more for views than talent in the AAF, but he’s also been reported as asking for way too much money when he was still trying to sign an NFL contract at a time when his publicity was viewed as unequivocally a negative for any potential teams, so he likely overvalued his talent too.

I think he is valuing celebrity status over talent which in some cases is > thank talent, but he is being completely unreasonable. I would have had incentives in the contract to try to make it work but 20 million, geez. Just another 1 percenter who if he really cared for his cause he could have raised a nice chunk of money and donated it or started another fund to help people. That’s impact.

Now, in the AAF, sure, he’s basing it on celebrity, but when he was asking for too much money before he left the NFL, after the 49ers didn’t resign him? He wasn’t signed because his talents didn’t outweigh the price he was asking for AND the PR he’d bring to an NFL team. While it may bring some views to a league like the AAF, the NFL wanted nothing to do with him, because they aren’t begging to get more viewers.

We get it, you like Aaron Rodgers lol. The NFL has employed plenty of people who brought in negative attention (e.g. dog fighting, every possible type of assault, etc), but they were willing to look the other way if the talent was there. Randy Moss never had an issue finding a team! So while I think Kaepernick had a lot of potential, I don't completely buy what either side is saying. With the AAF, I just see him as a marketing gimmick. They may have been able to bring in more investors with a big name, but I think they're headed the way of most other football organizations that try to compete with the NFL.

The NFL is nothing but a big money marketing gimmick too, lets be fair here. Nothing different although I acknowledge the AAF has far more to gain including its own survival.

Dont forget murder. If you play well and each children you still have a job, lol.

No disagreement here!

You’re supporting my point. Moss was a generational talent. People overlooked his issues. Vick was a freak athlete, so teams overlooked his issues after he served his time. Collin was not at this level, so teams weren’t willing to sign him, since they didn’t view his talent as outweighing his baggage. Not to mention the money he was asking for in the NFL. I never said what Kaep did would have meant he’d never be resigned, only that given his talent/success level and the money he was asking for, the balance just wasn’t there. If he was an elite QB, he could have said much more inflammatory things and even illegal things and been signed by SOMEONE. He just wasn’t at that level as a player.

I didn't say that I disagreed with you when it came to the NFL. I'm just saying that it's all marketing with the AAF or whatever league comes next. If somebody has enough talent, they're going to go to the NFL or the NFL will draw them away.

Yeah, I agree that Kaep would potentially be worth more to an AAF team than an NFL team, but I don’t know about $20 million haha. It seems more like he just didn’t want to play in the AAF, but that was his insane price that if they matched it he’d play, even if he didn’t really want to. But if the AAF is really planning on being a D-league for the NFL as opposed to a rival to the NFL, then the salaries will likely be lower, as the main draw for players is to try to make it to the NFL more than it is to try to make a ton of money. But we’ll see, I really have no idea.

Don’t put words in my mouth *******. I NEVER said or implied anything of that sort.

You more than implied it. I was talking about black people and you tried to equate them to gangs. Nobody mentioned gangs except for you.

Ive gotten so many "your mafia" references over the years being that Im pure Sicilian, its really ridiculous. The mafia is not my culture. Alot of Italians in my youth around me tried to pretend to be them as if they are somehow culturally connected to that. So phony. Whats also ridiculous is that the Mafia seems to be well respected because of movies such as the Godfather and many others but current Chicago gangs are looked down on pitifully. Then again, if your Chicagonian Al-Capone your a legend.

Just a side rant, not getting involved with the conflict going on in here, lol.

And you had the nerve to call me a ****tard. You take a look in the mirror lately? You’re in an elite class of stupid.

I said that I wasn't a racist ****tard, but hey, if the shoe fits. Feel free to explain your logic for bringing gangs into the discussion.

I understood you differently but things can come across differently online to depending on who is reading. Maybe its none of my business but Id think if you clarified your point rather than cursing Alek out we would get to a point where we can next set up AM members only group hugging sessions and start a dialogue about good things in life over some fresh dolphin safe tuna salad.

It's glorified in all sorts of things, but I'm sure the families of the innocents who got caught in the crossfire don't feel the same way. Italians, Irish, Chinese, Russian, etc. Pick a nationality and there was most likely a gang. For some there still are.

Ok, yeah that’s it, I’m a racist. As a matter of fact, I’m so racist I’m marrying a black girl in July. She’s Haitian btw. But like you said, black is black, and there’s no variation in culture.

You’re a ****ing moron.

Some of those Italians would call me a "Wigger" because half my friends were black and I was heavily into the hip hop scene, music, outfit, hair (cornrows) etc....I told them to go "F" themselves.

Apparently reading is hard for you since you don't seem to know the words "typically" or "most". But keep putting words in my mouth while crying about me doing it to you. You've had more than enough chances to explain what you meant, but you can't without sounding like a racist ****tard, so you play the "some of my best friends are black" card.
