I can compare her to Bernie, she can win 100% of the democratic vote but the electoral will call her racist names behind the scenes and the electoral vote will pick someone else. Then they will write her a phat check and she can buy a new vacation home to add to her collection.

I wouldn't get too happy. Remember I said that pendulum is going to swing back the other way, but further each time and I remember when Trump was seen as crazy and having no chance too. I think we're in a time now where anything is possible whether it makes sense or not.

I think Cortez is just a pimple and wont be much of an effect when it comes to voting time.

The man who will be top dog for Demicans is the "White Obama" (which is just a slogan I picked up from one of my favorite people in the world Gerald Celente) who is NY's Governor "His Majesty" Andrew Cuomo (stole that slogan from Larry Sharpe due to his family bloodline) who is probably a more realistic version of big government Cortez.

If you thought Obama was bad wait until you get a taste of Cuomo, he is like Obama on steroids. He hasnt announced running yet, and promised not to during his re-election but if he does you better watch. In my shoes its all the same shyt just wanna make that clear, but I can see you moving out of the country is Cuomo is prez, lol!

normally I would agree with this....I think independent voters are getting a taste of just how far left the democrats would like to take this country, unless the democrats nominate a candidate a little more center I think trump will get a 2nd term. or on the chance trump does get impeached which doesn't seem impossible, then pence will take the helm.....I seriously believe sane people have seen enough of leftist politics to know they don't like it.

I have explained to you before that coastal politics[both east and west]won't go over well in fly over states, this is why the democrats are making noises about eliminating the electoral voting system. Cuomo might seem like a hot shot locally for you, but in the mid west he looks like a assclown.

He is a big assclown to new yorkers too, he only has a small percentage of the voting map. Consolidation of corruption in big urban areas.

Almost the entire New York State area is really dominated by the "reds."

This was the 2018 Governor election below....I voted for Larry Sharpe who is a Libertarian and proud of his accomplishment of getting anough votes to make the L's a mandatory for the first time in the history of NY.

Not gonna be specific where but I live in one of those communist counties. The day Dump won the election my gym sounded like a funeral. I never seen such a depressed group of people outside of a real funeral.

gotta love it...of the democrats I talk to the vast majority don't like trump, but after seeing what a basket case Hillary has become they are glad she is not president, even though they voted for her.

They are all mostly hypocrites (not all are sell outs) ....I respected so many of them during the Bush years being hard core anti-war and anti-big government, and then when Barry Soetoro won all the sudden wars were humanitarian and they begged for big government.

This experience is what woke me up and I became a political atheist.

This. Whether it’s prayer, meditation, mindfulness, or visualization, they all have similar “logical/scientific” benefits we can explain, so whatever one you’re most comfortable doing, definitely do it.

Show me the “evidence” that the magnitude of these effects are greater than those from meditation, mindfulness, and/or visualization. They all work to increase self control, and thinking of and articulating your desires and feelings can also help manage them in a healthy way. There’s more than one way to skin a cat.

The act of counting prayers on a rosary and focusing on the prayer is a form of single pointed meditation which can have nice psychological benefits. Its excactly what you can get in Buddhist mediation or even completely non-religous forms of meditation.

This is all scientifically documented, but if you have the Christian scientist there will be some bias there and it turns to, hey talk to god and your brain improves!!!!!

California has one of the strongest economies in the world, let alone the US. The have like a $16 billion surplus. Most of the nations millionaires and billionaires live there. How are they communist?

Ironically many (all?) of the Uber-rich people there got Uber-rich from capitalism, but, now that they’re so rich that taking even 90% from them wouldn’t have any meaningful impact on their life, decry the evils of the system they built their fortunes on.

Like celebrities who regularly party on super yachts and fly private jets to climate conferences to tell the average citizen that they need to cut down on their footprint?

Someone suggested that all climate conferences be online/remote based, so no energy is wasted getting there. Lead by example.

People are going to be in for a world of hurt when/if immigration is halted. Lol

There is already a labor shortage, take away the Mexicans doing it and building costs will skyrocket and productivity will go down. Those guys work so damn hard it is embarrassing to claim I have ever 'worked' a day in my life. The only reason they stop working is because I kick them out so I can go home and sit on my ass some more.

It should be a system where we document and allow these people to come in here and work and/or stay legally. There is no reason we cant enforce the laws at the same time implement a 3rd world country slave labor force in the US.

I can see people going crazy when they pay $8 an apple.

Technically if they all became citizens and we raised the minimum wage for them and all workers to $15/hour we’d have a different problem. Similar to what we’d have if we started making all our phones and clothes in the US like some people want. Prices way up.

People hord sh*t they don't need anyway juool st to be fashionable... when that sh*t comes back around anyway. Some of the junior designers I went to art school with used to go to the GoodWill and get cheap material to remake cloths. It's BS our consumeristic "I need a new phone every year" society even though that last year's phone is still amazing because of Marketing.

It's a matter of values. Not directded towards you personally. This is an indemic issue of the American Society, which is not shared by much of the world at large which I base my communication with friends from a variety of countries including; Brazil; Turkey; Italy, and the UK. To me it is expressed best in adverisements from Pharmaceuitcal companies. I don't think they are legaly able to do the same thing in other countries as in the USA. Those ads get my wife's hackles up. She's in medicine and cannot stand them, but express quite well some things wrong with our societal acceptance.

If prices go up due to American made transition from China then I would pay more and shop even less if given that choice. I’m saying Americans enjoy being very consumeristic.

My point is that it’s easy to say let’s raise the minimum wage a lot and bring manufacturing of everything back to the US in theory, but my question is do you support this now? Nothing is stopping you from buying only US-made goods to support the policies you want with your wallet. Let the market decide where they want things made and where they want or are willing to have them made.
