So who do you want the special counsel to be? Ivanka?
Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev would be the most perfect fit imho.

Any thoughts on the assassination attempt on the GOP Congressmen and staff? Besides Gov McCarpetbagger proclaiming 93 MILLION people die each day by guns.

It's a senseless crime and brings out the hypocrites, same as when people start yelling for a travel ban when other tragedies occur.
That dude is a retard...he is a Bernie Supporter but hates Republicans when the Democrats and Hitlery stole the election from Bernie.
I wish our officials are allowed to arm themselves to protect themselves from these terrorists, thank goodness Capital Police were there.....absolutely incredible heroes, absolutely fearless!
isn't AMERICA great...if stone were Russian doing an interview like this about putin's wrongdoings he would be arrested or assassinated...
Says who? CNN?
you are right, I have no personal experience with Russia...please fill me in on how well people who criticize and oppose putin inside Russia are treated.
I studied Russian for 5 years at school -and still speak it to a degree. Putin has a strong opposition with logs and satire all over the internet.
I could give you links -but would it help?
Believe me, opinions are less censored than in Germany -maybe not as free as US -but far from being overly restricted.
If I had to chose where to live, Russia -or US, I would go with US, that does not mean I'm conform with US politics.
A Roman soldier would say: "Anyway, its good to be a Roman."
Meaning despite the aggressive behavior of the "Empire", you have to acknowledge the benefits.
so the stories of protesters and the opposition leader being arrested is just false news?
and you are right, with all our faults it's still better far to be an American, imo!!!

Protesters get arrested all over the world, especially if the protest is not peaceful, like "puzzy riot". If they go mental and disturb the peace -or destroy institutions, they get arrested, even in US.
What I want to say is, the Russian is not an enemy, the US -and European (vassal states) public were duped to believe it since ending of WW2, to keep the cold war going -and tax payers money flowing into military projects, this way keeping the Russians economy "short" -as they were struggling to counter balance it.
That's how I see it.
Looks like there has been another possible shooting at Travis Air Force Base
Sh1t, my flight tickets for my upcoming US vacations are already paid. Lets see if Uncle Sam lets me in.
Haiygrandpa to Echelon:
I'm NOT a "Russian Lover"....I repeat: I'm NOT a "Russian Lover".
That should do it.
I truly believe that U.S./ Russian relations under trump would have been [and still might be?] much better if the democrats had not blamed the Russians and Putin for Hillary Clinton losing the presidential election.

And in the meantime the Clintons were the ones that got Russian oligarch money, what a joke!
I guess it depends on perspective...I really thought Obama was the great divider and polarizer-the social issues he pushed like boys in girls bathrooms and black lives matters, not to mention pulling troops out of Iraq and afghanistan to me were very divisive....now the democrats are saying trump is responsible for dividing the nation...geez, where have those democrats been for the last 8.5 years?
I guess from a democratic perspective Obama wasn't divisive because they agreed with his agenda...trump is divisive because they disagree with his agenda.
go back a few hundred pages in this thread and see how divisive we were while Obama was president....to say trump is responsible for how divided the country is doesn't make sense....true, he may have added to it-but Obama had this country very divided before trump even announced he was running--at least in my opinion.
Nothing will ever change until we make the Demican and Republicrat duopoly false left/right paradigm obsolete. We need to return to 1776 when we had the only President in our history not belonging to any party.

Yes, I remember Obama's campaign speeches when he promised a boy in every bathroom and I think black lives matters was his campaign slogan (sarcasm). Why are you still listening to the media?! They are lying to you no matter if their name is CNN or Fox.
All politicians are divisive. Name one US President in the last 200 years who united rather than represented a political party and its agenda.
look how many pages this thread is....if you don't believe Obama was divisive go back a few hundred pages. Obama was toxic and so was his agenda!!!
don't need fox or cnn...this thread tells the story.
actually this thread has become more civil since trump was elected if truth be told!!!

So you want me to defer to the past hundred pages of this thread over the past hundred years? Obama did a lot of horrible crap. There's no reason to make stuff up.
I think most will agree that FDR and JFK weren't deviders.
Yes looking back. I will go on record that I HATE FDR!!!!! Although the people of the time didn't see it that way. At least in my opinion.FDR who ordered the internment of Japanese Americans, started socialism in the US with his New Deal, and was against an anti-lynching law?
JFK wasn't as big of a divider, but Bay of Pigs? Cuban Missile Crisis (which he gets credit for solving even though he caused it)? There was at least some people either in a book depository or on a grassy knoll that weren't fans.

Touché. I fully believe alot of are modern economic issues stem from his presidency.FDR was pretty heavily criticized during his terms. Even his own first vice president turned against him. Obviously he held the majority by getting elected for 12 years, but there was great division on both sides. At least we can agree on our hatred for him lol
slow news day today....
looks like trump is keeping promise to Cuban community who were responsible for him winning a close race in florida, imo.
Its total hypocrisy though....restrict Cuba but China who commits cultural genocide and oppresses its people far more than Cuba can dream of and Saudi Arabia who are the global be-headers in chief, cut more vagina lips of daily than Nathans sell hot dogs and and ban all woman from driving a stupid car get a pass.
We picked a fight with Cuba, they kicked our ass, and we've been taking it out on them ever since. It's like a loud-mouthed, rich kid who gets knocked out and then has his lawyer daddy makes you pay.
