How is that going to keep you safe when they are clogging up the security lines with ridiculous security measures when some terrorist can simply blow up the masses of people inside the airport?

Id rather them check my laptop and have these security measures than have 0 security measures and let whoever bring whatever they want on any airplane. I get your point, there are more people in airports than a single airplane, but i dont see how having 0 security to board a plane could be a good thing. Also, usually the majority of people in an airport are on the OTHER side of the security checkpoint. So, once again, it makes sense to have one. If they have intel saying ISIS is going to make bombs out of laptops, then by all means take my laptop out and check it. It takes all of about 5 minutes and could save hundreds.

What is the intel? All I've seen is USA Today reports. Why is the general public so easily swayed by bs? You need the NSA to keep you safe...you need the Patriot Act to keep you safe...you need the military to keep you safe. All bs and all so easily accepted.

I don't know about the intel, that isnt the point of my post though. Notice I wrote "IF they have intel".

I dont NEED them to keep me safe, but some people DO. Some people dont have the capacity to fend for their own lives, and a lot of people that do wouldnt help others if they were in need. What is the problem with them checking your laptop lol? When one dude brings some sort of explosive on a plane and blows people up you same people will bitch about the fact that no one checked them. Do we just bitch about everything nowadays?

Thats fair enough. I can go along with some security as long as security doesnt involve having your privates fondled and groped and having controversial body scanners that may or may not put peoples health at risks. I dont mind having my laptop checked (not my data, ) metal detectors, basic pat downs....having some of our troops walking around with giant guns at a high risk area, etc.....Again, I have to remind you hundreds of people are stuck on line and its easy to blow them all up anyways. Security needs to be reformed and they need to stop hiring slimy Wallmart employees as TSA agents to molest children.

The problem is that they've given you nothing but lies to invade your privacy and you not only fell for it, you're here defending it for them. How has the NSA or the Patriot Act or Homeland Security made us safer? The right to privacy has always been a huge part of what made the US different. We've been taught about those "scary" communist countries that ask to see your papers or can come into your home whenever they want, but here we are having our laptops and phones inspected by minimum wage ****heads at the TSA because we've been told of some mystery threat.

In all seriousness, Mark Cuban, who entertained the thought of running or being a VP, could have been all the things people liked about the idea of Trump (billionaire "non-Politician" who speaks his mind) without many of the negatives. He described himself as slightly libertarian leaning, but still with some social safety nets.

From triumph to tragedy. Trump is totally written off of any chance of winning. Hillary has it in the bag and Trump ends up winning. Now Trump will have to pick a new FBI director who in the end is going to take him down.

All these people have astronomical egos, that pretty much comes with the territory at this point. At the least, it seems, from what I've heard/read, that Cuban is an intelligent guy who can work with and listen to others, and doesn't stick his foot in his mouth (or on Twitter) as much as Trump.

I've been hearing that the President is going to be impeached for 8+ years now, from both sides, so I don't really even take it seriously anymore. You've heard about the boy who cried wolf; in politics it's the loser (on either side) who cried Impeach.

I would prefer someone who at least acts with more professionalism in that position, but really all I care about is policy. The nicest "acting" people are often behind closed doors the worst filth on earth.

trump has not been accused of any crime, and has often been said, 1st you need to have a crime to prosecute.

#3. the director of the fbi doesn't investigate anything, he is an administrator...the investigation will continue no matter who is director.

I haven't heard this about asking comey to stop the investigation....It's my understanding that if trump had asked comey to stop the investigation that comey was required by law to report this to his boss the asst attorney general immediately!!!

there hasn't even been an accusation of a crime...

You cant argue that its a good point its obstruction of justice if true, but what bothers me is the same hypocrites making this an issue didnt consider wiping out hard drives after a subpoena obstruction of justice. it was supposedly from February...and as the democrats are fond of saying---the timing doesn't pass the smell test...

under the law comey is in violation if this really happened and he didn't immediately report it to the proper authorities--primarily his boss the asst AG
