Donald Trump running for president

QUOTE=Misfit28;5651310]Possibly. Many prisoners "find Jesus" as well. Your point?

have you actually took the time to see what islam is about? jesus taught love and forgiveness, islam follows the old testament!!!
Christianity has modernized over the years, islam hasn't......look at the views on homosexuality and womens rights!!!

I will say it again, I find it very odd that women at a womens rights march would also be in support of letting in unlimited muslims-not to mention homosexuals!!! unintended consequences.

I own a copy of the Qur'an as well as the Bible. I also own many texts about Hinduism, Buddhism, Wicca, Vodoun and Satanism.

As a Christian, I'm sure you rely on your preacher at times to interpret verses in the Bible and put them in context. Otherwise, what would be the point of having preachers?

The same is true for Islam, what is interpreted by the different imams is what people believe.

You can have fire and brimstone Christian preachers, I would imagine that Islam has an equivalent.

There are many Christian preachers who teach intolerance to homosexuality and think wives should obey and serve their husbands without question.

I just take a pragmatic view...look at the attitudes towards women and homosexuality in muslim countries-their attitudes are in definite conflict with America's attitude!!!

to be honest I think it would be a shock to the system for a syrian refugee who had lived his/her entire life in a Syrian village/city, to suddenly wake up one day to find themselves in American culture....if they are a devout muslim[islam], they are going to see sexuality[both hetero and homosexuality]on display for the 1st time in their lives, plus the drug abuse and open alcohol consumption. lets face it, the united states has become vulgar in many ways---it is easy to see why devout muslims would look at the u.s. as the great satan. not to mention hundreds of thousands of American women marching for the right to kill unborn babies[abortion].

In numerous Muslim countries homosexuality is banned by muslim law, punishable by death in some. Thats much different than brimstone Christian preaching or beliefs.

You have Christians here that believe all of that! Explain groups like the Westboro Baptists. And I've seen attitudes like that towards homosexuality in this very thread!

Are they punishable by death? And are consenting adults charged with sodomy, or is it used when someone is raped, hence the term forcible sodomy?

You're assuming that immigrants that come from those countries where these things are illegal are simply going to come in, take over and change our laws? Come on, man.

Besides things that aren't legal still happen. LGBTQ people are murdered regularly in the U.S. without being mandated by law.

In before the FBI is biased and liberal.

Aren't we removing sanctions and establishing closer ties to Russia? Putin has passed anti-homosexual laws there as well.

There are tons of countries in which it is illegal to engage in homosexual activity. They're not all Muslim dominated.

In fact, 5 predominately Muslim countries legalized homosexual acts: Mali, Jordan, Indonesia, Turkey and Albania.

"Call it whatever you wanna call it"

ROFL!

I gotta say this is a nice change from that 8 years of that politically correct sissy ass.

Did you know that if you cut down a cactus in arizona you could face a 25 year prison sentence?

Found that one interesting.

Also, in Alabama you cannot wear a fake moustache to church if it will cause laughter.

Not overly relevant but thought id lighten the mood

LMAO, the fake mustache one is hilarious.

Did you know that you can be technically put to death in the U.S. for these non-murder crimes?

State:

Treason (Arkansas, Calif., Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Washington)
Aggravated kidnapping (Co., Idaho, Il., Missouri, Mont.)
Drug trafficking (Fl., Missouri)
Aircraft hijacking (Ga., Mo.)
Placing a bomb near a bus terminal (Mo.)
Espionage (New Mexico)
Aggravated assault by incarcerated, persistent felons, or murderers (Mont.)

Federal

Espionage (18 U.S.C. 794)
Treason (18 U.S.C. 2381)
Trafficking in large quantities of drugs (18 U.S.C. 3591(b))
Attempting, authorizing or advising the killing of any officer, juror,or witness in cases involving a Continuing Criminal Enterprise, regardless of whether such killing actually occurs (18 U.S.C. 3591(b)(2))

I know none of then are homosexuality, just found it interesting. I had no idea some of these could be punishable by death, especially drug trafficking.

How is exactly is the U.S. going to become ruled by Sharia law by allowing refugees (which are mostly children)?

You say that I drink the Kool-Aid?

You're barking up the wrong tree, so to speak. I'm not arguing about America being ruled by sharia. I'm adding to the Prager U paper that was posted about muslim culture being antithetical to ours in some aspects.

I never got a chance to look at that, doing so now. The argument streams got mixed, I think. LOL.

They are no longer punishable by death, but once were in this country. And yes, consenting adults. They are and were a set of laws to punish homosexuality based on the beliefs of a religion, which in this case is Christianity.

I can't take anything from Prager "University" or Ayaan Hirsi Ali seriously after reading a bit into their respective backgrounds.

Prager himself is a homophobic, climate denialist, anti-feminist, anti-science, anti-marijuana, supported the Iraq War and is for torture.

I mean, he claims that gay marriage is a greater threat to America than economic depression.

Here's a gem of a quote from him that totally undermines your argument:

"But the major reason for anyone concerned with women's equality to be concerned with homosexuality is the direct correlation between the prevalence of male homosexuality and the relegation of women to a low social role. The improvement of the condition of women has only occurred in Western civilization, the civilization least tolerant of homosexuality."

So Prager is saying that Western civilization is less tolerant than Middle Eastern countries? Doesn't that pretty much go against everything you've been arguing? So there's a huge contradiction.

Also, that same website has videos with titles like:

"Why the Right is Right."
"God vs Atheism: Which is more rational?"
"Israel: The Worlds Most Moral Army"
"Why we are losing Liberty"
"Why I left Greenpeace"
"What they haven't told you about climate change"
"The Truth about CO2"
"The most important question about abortion"

Any ideas here about how they "lean"?

Ali has some good stuff, but she is mostly just an anti-Islam extremist. She goes from rational to batsh1t at the drop of a hat, apparently. The fact that she appears on Fox and CBN lends her even less credibilty IMO.

This statement is just ludicrous:

"Judeo-Christian civilization produced the laws, codes, language and material prosperity that have greatly elevated women's status."

Are you kidding me? Just take a look at the laws that initially governed this country. It took amendments to the Constitution to make it legal for women to own land or vote. Those were vehemently opposed by the "Judeo-Christian" men of the time.

They've got a point. Spicer called it a ban, then they get all pissed off about people calling it a ban.

The Trump administration seems to have a disconnection with reality. They seem to forget that things like press briefings are recorded and can be replayed.

They will twistfuq anything he says at this point, its obvious the globalists and cia controlled media is out to destroy him.

He can say the sun comes up in the morning and he will be accused of hating Japanese.

I dont really care what he called it...not taking a shot at you but liberals and CIA media have turned this into something its not. 87% of the globes Muslim population is exempt from this executive order and this is specifically countries of specific interest in places I wouldnt dare step foot on. ban ban ban, whatever.

The fact that it has been (admittedly) blown out of proportion doesn't affect the subject at hand. Why are you deflecting?

So America has "progressed" far enough over decades that sodomy or homosexuality is NO LONGER punishable by death, and that compares to Muslim nations where it currently is?

Ill add, those are all UN-Constitutional laws to begin with.

With all the crap going on this country, real crap such as our economy, taxes, health care, wars, government corruption that people get stuck up on politically correct words. This country needs to ban political correctness if anything.

If he did he did, why does it matter?
It matters because, just like Trump, he keeps denying stuff he has said. That's crazy, IMO. It's a fundamental issue of this administration, and it hasn't even been two weeks yet.

Just wait until a real crisis happens. Though, apparently Iran just launched an ICBM. We may not have to wait long. I'm sure we'll invade them next. For the oil we didn't get while we were in Iraq ;)

Thats just a reaction to the shytstorm politically correct liberals and media have caused.

Now Dump said whats right, "call it whatever you wanna call it" and thats my thumbs up earlier today.

Your so worried about Iran but wanted Iran war mongering Hitlery to be president, how can I take your statement seriously?

Trump is just as bad of a war mongerer, he just hasn't had a chance to show it yet. Remember, he thinks bringing back torture is a good idea.

Ive taken martial arts with cops, detectives, private contractors....some think its works and some think it doesnt. Each and every one of them are good people with a good intensive purpose. Its a interrogation tactic, one I personally do not agree with but come on man, this has nothing to do with supporting war mongering policies.

Your going off of skeptisism about Dump, yet your solution was to vote for Hitlery who openly war mongered not only Iran but probably what would have created a real crisis with war mongering Russia something media is giving Dump a hard time about. Im sorry but your so full of hypocrisy its unbelievable.

If you recall, I was never totally enamored with Clinton. Bernie was my pick from the start. I only supported Clinton because I think Trump was a horrible choice.

Call me a hypocrite all you want/ It's easy not to be a hypocrite when the stuff you believe is all conspiracy theories ;)

From a conspiracy theorist to CIA conditioned Mr. Stockholm syndrome...you do not solve your solutions by being a part of the problem. Your biggest mistake was not voting for either Jill Stein or Gary Johnson because you have no credibility and backbone with your anti-war statements.

I really don't care if you think I'm credible or not, honestly. You don't pay me, LOL.

Anyway, I'm certainly not pro-war. You can believe me or not, it doesn't make a difference to me. Honestly I'd rather you not believe me, given some of the stuff you say you believe :D

You criticize Dump for a ban on Muslims from 7 countries that you voted to keep bombing the crap out of continuing her genocidal policies.

The Butcher Bill

Clinton often costumes military intervention in the philosophy of “responsibility to protect,” or “R2P.” But her application is selective.

She takes credit for overthrowing Muammar Gaddafi in Libya, for example. But in her campaign speeches she’s not said a word about Invalid Link Removed being waged by Saudi Arabia in Yemen. She cites R2P for why the U.S. should overthrow Bashar al-Assad in Syria, but is silent about Saudi Arabia’s Invalid Link Removed to crush demands for democracy by its majority Shiite population.

Clinton, along with Invalid Link Removed, the U.S. ambassador to the UN, and Susan Rice, the Obama administration’s national security advisor, has pushed for muscular interventions without thinking — or caring — about the consequences.

And those consequences have been dire.

Afghanistan: Somewhere around Invalid Link Removed have died since the 2001 U.S. invasion, and millions of others are refugees. The U.S. and its allies have suffered close to 2,500 dead and more than 20,000 wounded, and the war is far from over. The cost to the treasury alone runs close to Invalid Link Removed, not counting long-term medical bill that could run as high as $2 trillion.

Libya: Some 30,000 people died and another 50,000 were wounded in the intervention and civil war. Hundreds of thousands have been turned into refugees. The cost to Washington was cheap at a cool $1.1 billion, but the war and subsequent instability created a tsunami of weapons and refugees — and the fighting continues. It also produced one of Clinton’s more tasteless remarks. Referring to Gaddafi, she said, “We came, we saw, he died.” The Libyan leader was executed by having a bayonet rammed up his rectum.

Ukraine: The death toll now exceeds 8,000, some 18,000 have been wounded, and several cities in the eastern part of the country have been heavily damaged. The fighting has tapered off, although tensions remain high.

Yemen: Over 6,000 Yemenis have been Invalid Link Removed and another 27,000 wounded. According to the UN, most of them are civilians. Ten million Yeminis don’t have enough to eat, and 13 million have no access to clean water. Yemen is highly dependent on imported food, but a U.S.-Saudi blockade has choked off most imports. The war is ongoing.

Iraq: Anywhere from Invalid Link Removed have died from war-related causes since the 2003 invasion. Over 2 million have fled the country and another 2 million are internally displaced. The cost: close to $1 trillion, but it may rise to $4 trillion once all the long-term medical costs are added in. The war Invalid Link Removed its latest incarnation: a bloody turf war with the Islamic State, which emerged from the Sunni insurgency against the U.S.-installed government.

Syria: Over 250,000 have died in the war, and half the country’s population has been displaced — including four million Syrian refugees abroad. The country’s major cities have been ravaged. The war, like the others, is ongoing.

There are other countries — like Somalia — that one could add to the butcher bill. Then there are the countries that reaped the fallout from the collapse of Libya. Invalid Link Removed largely fuel the wars in Mali, Niger, and the Central African Republic.

Here's an article about Trump from the site where you found this, I assume:

Invalid Link Removed

Check out the quote at the end of this section from that piece:

"At the same time, Trump’s plans to intervene in Iraq and take the oil should be recognized as just another variant of longstanding U.S. policy. In keeping with his “America First” motto, he has abandoned all pretense of ensuring multilateral access to the oil in favor of U.S. corporations alone. He may often frame his plan as a way of weakening IS, but he has made it clear that he has long felt that the United States should take the oil. Even before the rise of IS, “I always used to say, keep the oil,” Trump acknowledged in his post-inaugural speech at C.I.A. Headquarters. And “I said it for economic reasons,” he noted.

Indeed, Trump shares the same basic ambitions as his predecessors. By saying that he wants to take the oil, he is revealing what U.S. officials have been trying to do for years. They want to take Iraq’s oil, use it for the benefit of the United States, and let nothing stand in the way.

“So we should have kept the oil,” Trump insisted once again in his speech to his audience at the C.I.A. “Maybe you’ll have another chance,” he added."

I do not support the refugee program, doesn't mean I blame them or hate them.
