Donald Trump running for president

You guys got me, I hate white people

Y'all need to do some research on NYC's history. The racial groups here are not as integrated as you'd think.

But wouldnt the black/asian/hispanic community historically in NYC also be racist too? Is there a reason you bring up and favor the white skin when it comes to racist accusations when posting here? Ive seen racism come from just about all races in NY. Overall the average person isnt thinking about this stuff and other peoples skin when walking down the street in NYC these days. I dont think its a nice stereotype about the people of NYC regardless of race. Its not true.

ax1 if someone were talking out about any specific race, I would certainly stand up for ANY of them. Unfortunately I've only seen people in this thread being racist against black people. Making fun of Obama by speaking in Ebonics. Saying things like the black population are mostly dead beat dads.

If someone were being racist against white, Asian, anything, I would stand up against that too.

And yes, NYC has an integration problem amongst most groups.

History? This isnt the 1950's any more w/ Robert Moses moving blacks into slums.

Whats history got to do with today? And what is it that you want to see currently in terms of integration?

I have heard about the racial tensions in NYC over time. It's still not really fair to broadbrush and entire group based on a few people. I've been guilty of that, as well. Except for the deplorables, they're just deplorable ;)

Ok, I just wanted to be sure you werent on the -white only people are racist-......so thats cool. Whats going on this thread is another issue I have mixed feelings on, but thats what I wanted to hear at least.

Whats with NYC thats so concerning w/ integration?

What's history got to do with today? Really? Lol.

It's got a LOT to do with what happens today.

Well I agree...I meant what more specifically is it relevant to today? For example, I really dont want to hear about slavery being relevant to today, that was a long time ago and nobody now has anything to do with that anymore.

Come to the boroughs ax1. I am not speaking about the tourists in Manhattan going about their wonderful days.

In the boroughs, I've come across every type of racism imaginable here.

I never saw this problem up in Canada, but if you knew NYC's history, it would make more sense

you seem to have a predisposition to find the racial derogatory in everything I say.

I'm a white guy and use the term FO-shizzle. My white kids saw and heard Snoopp Dogg do it in TV commercial all over my network and cable television for quite a long cycle. It became a main stream America term for everyone - not just Irish Italian NY racists like myself.

Our entire society is plagues with absent fathers and deadbeat dads. I have work with hundreds of men who are victims of the epidemic. My father was one and I know first hand the results in my life and the lives of other men. But when I subscribed to the fact that it effects African Americans also it means to you that my sentiment was that only African American fathers are dead beat dads because I'm an Irish Italian NY racist.

You have already discriminated against me and labeled me a racist. Yet I'm the one with the problem.

It reminds me of the Avenue Q song "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist." And, as much as I hate to admit it, everyone does make judgments, at least initially, based on race and similar factors at times. I remember the "Black Frank Sinatra" on America's Got Talent (I think that's the show); everyone was shocked when he sang Sinatra. He was great, but people saw it as even more amazing/shocking because "black people don't sing/listen to Sinatra."

I went there all my life and even lived there a couple years as a very young kid. My mother and sister both live in brooklyn since I was 5. They both went through ALOT of crap living there along with other family I have there. I know whats going on and have my own perspective on it just like anybody else has theirs of course.

If your talking about how races/cultures are separated living in communities such as the itialians on 1 side of the street and acidic jews on the other, well of course people cling to their cultures and familiarity. People on average are tribal by nature. Every tribe is going to have its standouts clinging to their illusion of superiority.

I will show some rare maturity here in this thread and apologize then. It's a political thread and we tend to have our defenses up in here. I've also recently been through a very disgusting 7 month period / experience with a very large group of racist Italian/NYers in Astoria. It wasn't just the one family but most of their friends too. I suppose I still have a sour taste in my mouth from the experience. It's been further reinforced by speaking amongst others around the country too about this (off the forum) with people who acknowledge the problems in NYC with me.

Statistically there hardly are any minorities that live there compared to the USA especially NYC. Maybe in Toronto is more diverse I dunno have to look at it more specifically, but hey NYC can be a rough rough life for everybody and its a combination of the globe all in one place.

I'm from Toronto, one of the most multicultural cities in the WORLD

i lived in Brooklyn as saw the groups of ethnicities change from one street corner to the next. Over the 50 years of my life I watched my neighborhood change from Irish Norwegian Italian to Hispanic Dominican African American to Asian American dominance. There's still some areas that have not changed at all. It seem to be the stereotypical more affluent that are less transient - the Jewish (boro park) and Italian (bay ridge Bensonhurst) as I thing they may have more home ownership than areas that are more rental and apartment buildings.

Ive seen some of that too in Bensonhurst (I heard is more chinese now) being 1 generation here from an Italian family....But I also knew alot of italians that just didnt think about race so much other than being proud of their heritage. You will certainly find that some worse some less from community to community.

Haha...my mother lived a block or 2 away from Benson in Boro Park, thats why that example came to mind!

Its good to see people disgusted seeing that...it makes for a very uncomfortable position wanting to punch people in the face and then knowing you have to live around and get along with these people. I can understand how this stuff can make your blood boil because alot of times your holding it in during these situations and when your venting about it like here, it comes off explosively. Can totally relate with you in some ways.

It's almost like a walk through Disney's "It's A Small World" I have enjoyed over the years walking my children through the sunset park and boro park neighborhood sayin' 'member when...

My Italian grandfather was born at 5 Points in NYC - Mott & Mulburry (sp) - and I believe it was pretty Irish at that time. Then when I was a kid I remember there was a big Little Italy community as well as China Town. Little Italy now is very little and China Town a lot bigger.

My family and I love that place!

But hey a$$hole, since we're on the topic, check this out dickwad. My ex's sister is an EMT in NYC. She told me she lets black dudes die if she thinks they're scumbags. I guess according to you, since I'm white, I can't tell anyone she's racist. **** you mr reps for Satan, gtfooh
Or you could just say she's a bad person? Lol I don't know why you say it like I don't agree with you about her, she's let's people die who she thinks are ****ty people. She shouldn't be an EMT if she feels that way, end of story. But it doesn't change the fact you throw around racist when someone posts on a forum like someone gives a ****. I'm pretty sure he doesn't let black people die, so I dont know why you relate the two. Democrats man, trump is a piece of **** no one can deny that, but you Hillary supporters are a whole new level of ****ed up. anyone who does anything you guys don't agree with is a RACIST. have fun going to your black lives matter rallies and **** bud lol

I'm pretty sure that a person like her, who uses the N word constantly when talking about black people, who calls Asians "chinks", who lets black people on the job die, who says Latinos are ok but just "tolerable"... Yeah I'm pretty sure it's safe to say she's heavily racist. And I sure as hell am capable of judging her even though I'm white. Get over yourself

Just a racist? Thats an all out murderer, this woman still is an EMT?

Yeah and ive met many of her EMT/NYPD friends who all talk like this too. Not much can be done unfortunately, it'd just be my word against hers and likely her superiors would just laugh me away. Not to mention, being that her hubby is NYPD, I'm a bit deterred in trying to speak up about things she's said in private. I don't want my life made hell here. Might be selfish, but I'll admit to that.

It can backfire, you can go to prison for slander if they counter-sue. Depends on lawyers, juror, etc....

This is the day in age where if you work at Goldman Sachhs and call a private confidential ethics hotline about ethics your azz gets fired (true story recently.) We lived in a f'ed up world.

You need to get the media involved if this is true.

How have there not been any investigations? I'd assume that when more than one person dies on the job on your watch, someone would look into it, and, considering you say she was letting them die, there was likely then improper procedure and protocol not being followed.

People die here everyday. She sees suicides, gunshot wounds/deaths, ODs.... I'm not shadowing her on the job so I don't know exactly what she's doing and I can't answer your questions. All I know is she told me "if these n*****s seem like scumbags, I'll let them die". I'm sure it's not an everyday thing that would get her caught.

And like ax1 said, I can't prove anything and risk being sued for defamation, not to mention they know where I live, work and hangout.

That's why I'm saying get the media involved. There are also many civil and human rights groups that could look into it. You should at least pass the names that you have on to them.

With all the negative press of Trumps, from his own offensive big mouth to the sex assault scandals, why has Hillary not completely run away (according to polls) with this election?

To bad there was Gary Johnson as the Libertarian ticket, he is one creepy dude. I feel like there was a missed opportunity this election, not just from Libertarian but 3rd party/Indi in general. Heck, Bernie should have ran as a independent especially since he actually won the primary and it was stolen from him, but I guess he got bought out in the end.

By all accounts Trump acts like he wants to lose (makes me reconsider more seriously my conspiracy he is a shill for Clinton). With Bernie gone she should be polling far greater considering how the entire media is liberal and IMO routing for her.

Oooof yeah that's bad. I'm a big supporter of the Persian people. They don't deserve war. Just regime change. The change has to come from within though. But after saying that, I doubt the US will start a war with Iran. Doesn't make sense.

Also, Democrats have been trying to be diplomatic with them, it's the conservatives who want to go to war with Iran and are being aggressive with them, because of I$rael.

I've been out of the country for a week, and I doubt I'll read all 12pages to catch up. You're right about he difference between the citizens and the mullahs running Iran. The problem is, it's not Republicans wanting to attack Iran. It's the Iranian leaders being on record saying they will destroy the Great Satan and Little Satan, numerous times. That would be the US and Israel. They are the world's leading sponsor of terror when counting the many groups they fund and support.

I've said before, Obama snubbed the Iranian people in the 2009 Green movement, that should have been the beginning of the Arab Spring. They begged the US to step in somehow and help. We didn't, which was probably the correct choice. Yet the Obama regime has been sucking the mullahs ass ever since, and enabling them to be able to further their cause to "destroy the Great Satan."

This whole thing really does show just how much Hillary is hated as this should have been a slam dunk. I disagree with a lot that Bernie stands for, but would have voted for him in a second.

I dont think Iran funded thoe most "terrorists. Al-queda and ISIS. That was the US under Carter starting with the Mujahideen, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush and now Obama. What terror groups are bigger than that?

You can easily say that its been the USA (backed by Saudi's) and not Iran funding the greatest amount of terrorists over the last several decades. Remember, it was the US and not Iran that blew up the world trade center and shot that calculated missile into the pentagon on 9/11.

But anyways I know you may disagree with the stuff above but Iran didnt destroy Iraq (during the Iran/Iraq war the USA funded both sides under Reagan), Iran didnt destroy Syria, Iran didnt destroy Lybia, Iran didnt destroy Vietnam, Iran didnt destroy Cambodia, Iran didnt destroy and destabilize South American countries....I can go on. Hey, Israel destroyed Palestine and continues to suppress its people...and I am in NO WAY saying Israel should get whats coming from them but there is so much hypocrisy in this it makes me wanna throw up.

/morning rant, will finish coffee in preperation of early morning NFL...Lets go Giants!!!!! lol

Im the same way, I hate socialism. I actually wanted to vote for him in the Primaries when he came around and before all this unfolded but I wasnt allowed because I wasnt registered Democrat.

I just figured a socialist is far greater a lesser evil than an all out war mongering blood thirsty psychopathic genocidalist terrorist that Hitlery is.

But hey, enjoy your new 3rd 700k Vermont vacation home Bernie that you bought after you dropped out :)

Thank you! I have said that so many times and of course I'm crazy.

Maybe one day we could share a bagal and coffee for breakfast, a couple hot dogs at Nathan's at Coney Island for lunch and a couple slices at Grimaldis for dinner. We could wear our tin-foil hats together and you could give me the substancec to support all the conspiracy theories I've got in my head. It'd be fun. :D

It's fall in the city. I'm jealous. Enjoy your day!

Gary Johnson looks like he's stuck in a perpetual acid trip. It's too bad for the Libertarian party. I would really like to support them but it's almost comical

I hate it too, but feel like we're already a pretty socialist nation so it wouldn't make that huge of a difference lol

So after Trump loses this election, where do people see the GOP heading, and what do people see for the future of the GOP? It's been such a mess for them that I almost feel sorry for the party.

Potentially a move towards more libertarian leaning candidates? If Hillary ends up being as bad as a lot of people think she'll be, then it may end up shaking up the dynamics of both parties, who knows.

The GOP establishment is tanking themselves because they have failed to do what their constituents sent them their to do. Remember Eric Cantor, #2 in the House got sent packing by a professor on a campaign that only spent about $10,000. Jon Boehner got bounced. Paul Ryan is about to be the next to go in leadership.

I'm sure you feel as sorry for the GOP as all the libs do. :)

I see the GOP distancing themselves from Trump and then it's business as usual. Trump isn't the worst thing to happen to a political party.

Considering the Democrats will be on top, the GOP will also be on top.

I dont see why people dont get it, the GOP and Democratic party are ONE party and their policies are hardly different. Dump may really have been an outsider, the reason a chunk of the top GOP is both not supporting him and voting for Hitlery anyways.

Id say the ones who were sucked into the system and see how rigged it is are more prone to leave, unless they dont have the ability to think outside of the box.

Well the way I see it, it pays to have a strong team to work with in congress. I don't wish the worst for them, quite the opposite. Maybe things will get shaken up a bit now for the better.
