What's her full medical history? What other medications is she currently and recently taking? Has she tried any of the newer blood thinners with poor results or adverse events? THAT is the context. People still take coumadin and there are many reasons why they would over another drug. Newer doesn't guarantee safer or more effective for everybody.

no I did not remember that, so I googled it...it actually lends credence to the rumors that rival groups in the civil rights movement [the ones advocating violence] were behind king's death.

I'm from Memphis and took a class that focused on the Civil Rights Movement in Memphis. It's the whole reason King was even in Memphis on the day he was assassinated.

He probably never learned how to support his claims with actual evidence (from legit sources) since he didn't go to college. I guess that's one area where his high school diploma just doesnt quite top a college degree.

google...'hillarys health problems'....her fall and concussion and the thrombosis or whatever it's called that caused clots is very well documented...yes, she did fall...yes, she did suffer a concussion...yes, she developed that thrombosis thing and yes she is taking Coumadin.

- I told you that any doctor giving their opinion on this matter without knowing her full medical history including physical exam and medication history is not a good doctor. It is completely irresponsible and they wold rather see their name on the internet or the news than actually have integrity

- You accused me of taking it out of context

- I replied that her medical history (including what drugs she is currently taking, what drugs she has tried before, any personal medical reasons for why she is taking her current drugs, etc.) is the context. Without knowing all of that information, a physician cannot make a proper assessment.

- You told me to google ****

- I asked why am I googling **** that I just told you is not available to anybody except her personal physician and not these doctors giving their irresponsible opinions on somebody that is not their patient

Exactly this. Regardless of what their personal beliefs are on the subject, there are a myriad of reasons why a physician may favour one course of action over another. Anyone can go on TV and give an opposing view just to have their claim to fame, but without knowing her medical history, what she can and cannot tolerate etc. whatever they say is just speculation.

That's like me giving you workout advice or nutritional advice without considering what your history is like.

Had I said I was a 51yo male who was living in secrecy will my male partner and I wanted my relationship recognized equal to that of hetero marriage and I wanted to influence local and national legislation in my favor of myself and others to do so...

Had I been a 30 something yo female who practiced irresponsible and dangerous unprotected sex and happened to become pregnant and after much thought in my 2nd trimester I wanted to kill my unborn human baby and wanted to influence local and national legislation in favor of myself and other to commit murder...

I would be embraced and respected and supported and empathized with for and in my choices and struggle for acceptance and equality and freedom without persecution in our society (and specifically this forum and some of its members) far more than when I had professed myself as a 51yo heterosexual male Christian.

The disdain for and persecution of Christians and God aware, acknowledging, loving, following, believing and worshiping is quite hypocritical here and in our society.

I believe that homosexual couples should have equal rights as strait couples in the eyes of the law, but I don't think it's right to force any religion to accept their "marriage" of host their wedding.
 
Also, I've been doing research on what the Bible ACTUALLY says about homosexuality, and, let's just say that anyone who is chastising gays but having premarital sex is a big time hypocrite. I don't want to turn this into a Bible analysis thread though, haha.

The overarching theme I've noticed going to Church is to be "Christ-like." Jesus was peaceful, charitable, and didn't judge others. Plenty of "Christians" are not at all Christ-like.

The hegemonic domination of Caucasian Christians is coming to an end. Does that scare you?

Maybe for once you're now experiencing what multitudes people who are NOT heterosexual white Christian males have been experiencing for centuries.

However, I think your persecution complex is sorely misguided.

Christianity is still the dominant religion in the United States and many other countries. Christianity is so dominant and prevalent that politicians go out of their way to proclaim their faith and court the evangelical vote. Even Trump has gone out of his way to make sure to mention his faith, even though he can't even keep his Bible verses straight.

Memorizing Bible verses is not a good indicator of anything to me. I know people who have basically the whole Bible memorized but are hypocritical, judgmental, selfish, etc. Other people know very little verses but are much more Christ-Like, and therefore "better Christians" IMO.

How many Christian-based holidays does the US recognize and generally do people get off of work because? How many holidays of ANY other religion does that happen in the US for? Which religion has the name of its god on US currency? Christianity is not being persecuted in the US at all and to say so is a slap in the face of people that actually have been persecuted. Two dudes want to get married and you find that gross? Fine, but persecution?!?! Do you secretly have to attend church? Is somebody coming into your house to check if there is a bible there with your life in danger if they find one. Seriously, persecution?!?!

I agree with you, they're not really Christians at all, but they're often the most vocal "Christians," so they give real Christians a bad reputation at times. Similarly, I don't consider someone who loots and riots during a protest to be a "civil rights activist," no matter how loudly they say that they are.

I'm not afraid of anything and my Christianity has zero to do with policical pandering.

I have no persecution complex. I have been on this board for 13+ years and berated on this board by its members, many like yourself, more times than I can count.

Your spirit and tone is devicive and antagonistic. You are not someone with witch I will find any fruit in having conversation with regardless. Thanks.
