what the hell is your point, lol....I was talking about transgenders getting sex change operations paid for by military, and then having lifelong follow-up care at the VA...I am worried that the VA would give preferential treatment over vets who are dying to get care, just to satisfy the liberal agenda!!!

it would be hard to have a contract that covers that issue without offending 'sensibilities'.....this pc crap is not equality, imo.

they should read a series called SHARPE'S RIFLES by BERNARD CORNWELL...very nice depiction of the Napoleonic wars seen thru the eyes of a british infantryman. it is fiction but has a lot of historical accuracy's.

Nice suggestion! I don't understand how any American can make disparaging comments about the French in regards to military or bravery when they played such a huge role in the American Revolutionary War.

I'm just not a close follower to American politics anyways. I know as much as is unavoidable (and viral lol)

I wouldn't argue with someone who knows the topic at hand better. US military budget use for sex change and all that is unknown to me.

This is why I have been a rare sight in here
I know my knowledge has limitations

But human rights/moral issues and sex/gender issues are things that land on both sides of the border and I have firm stances on.

Why does "we" have to be a country? "We" could be the western allies, especially since I'm referencing WWII. In any case, the Russians played the biggest part in winning the war. I'm not diminishing anyone else's efforts, but they did.

That is just not true. USA gave everyone most of the supplies, won the most battles, took out the most military vehicles, killed the most solidiers, and really was the only one who fought Japan.

Honestly Russia didn't do much other then defend and take back their land. That is a fact. Oh and stole stuff.

Wow, ok well that's completely false (about Russia). We had a discussion about this before in here, with references and links. Let me drag em up again.

Russia is completely responsible for ending the war in the largest, bloodiest battle of all time. It crushed the Germans. This is historical fact. Give me a few minutes and I'll get you the links.

The US supplied the USSR with 14,700 airplanes, 7,000 tanks, and 15.4 million pairs of boots. In terms of material and financial support, the U.S. was important, possibly critical in the success of Stalin's grinding down of Hitler.

It's not entirely correct, but the Eastern Front was an important strategic loss for Hitler and was one of the key reasons they lost the war. But it's also important to realise that Germany waging wars on so many fronts, and also committing huge strategic errors as well. Had Germany not invaded the east, he may well have taken over most of Europe given how much resources he committed to the Eastern front that could have spelled disaster for Europe. But they did, and both fronts wore them down.

Russia can attribute at least a small amount of its' success to that of US resource supply, but also the US played key roles in the war of the pacific.

It's not fair to say the Russians won the more any more than it is fair to say the US did. It's not that simple

Yep. Alot of talk about how brutally the Russians fought. However the Japanese took the most death toll as well as fought the most brutally, and oh who was pretty much the only one who fought them???

If gay pride had been pushed to the masses so much lately that it was more "popular" or draws more public appeal.

At first you just had an issue with "who is we". And I wrote who cares? The west obviously, and this is why I was sarcastic cos you were nitpicking some petty a$$ $hit about a word "we".

But if you want to deny that the Russians fought and won the biggest battle of WWII, and the largest tank battle of all time, then you're simply denying history. No big deal though. People do that all the time.

This needs repeating. There were some islands in the pacific that claimed the lifes of thousands of marines, yet were never used to advance the war. A bloody battle fought, only for people decide the position was not advantageous enough to utilise again.

Battles can claim plenty of lifes yet serve no purpose. Remember, when Germany advanced into Russia, they committed mass slaughter of any captured troups and were intent on destroying the soviet union, once russia grouped together (seriously fortunate to not be crushed at starlingrad due to a series of misjudgments on Hitlers part), the Germans knew they would now be fighting for survival so they threw everything they could to stop it. On the west, the germans fought for a negotiated peace, on the east, to not be destroyed

Agreed but trump would be just as bad. Although I don't think trump will get anything done(good thing imo with how dumb these two are). As in your government you have to be willing to work with people whom you dislike or disagree with to pass anything, and I just don't see trump doing that. He just gonna piss people off and make them not want to help or work with him, making nothing actually happen during his presidency.

We need a President who will actually do something about these criminals. I already heard Trump say back in the beginning he isnt going to press any charges on Obama. He said it would take too much time and he wants to move this country forward.

If we dont hold these criminals accountable for their treason and corruption its only going to keep getting worse.

Hillary has already said that half her cabinet will be women, doesn't matter if they are best candidates for the job.....I am all for fairness and equality, but it seems the deck is being stacked against white males!!!
