My wife is born in June, I just showed her this and she was like WTF??? Why's it gotta be in my month? Ugh!!!

I still don't get the "pride" thing.
As educated male, I know that LGBT is normal. Gay's and lesbian see themselves as normal too , even fight for it to be accepted by doubters.
When everybody is just human, of what are LGBT's proud then?
I really don't get it.

And I'm trying to explain it to you. They're proud because they are not ashamed. Things have certainly gotten better for them as far as acceptance goes, but it's far from good. Most of society is still telling them to be ashamed.

Now I blame my confusion on the fact that English isn't my native tongue. Pride in German is maybe used slightly differently.
In German, if someone isn't ashamed he isn't necessarily proud. But I think I got it know.

You can also be indifferent where you don't really care one way or the other. I apologize for presenting it as only two choices. I think it is more a push though against being told to be ashamed. Basically saying not only are they not ashamed, but proud.

And your English is extremely good, especially for somebody who isn't a native speaker. Some people post online who only know English and I can barely make out what the hell they are saying lol

With gay men do you think that the bottoms get discriminated against more than the tops because they are more submissive? Are they made to feel ashamed. They should have a special month for all the bottoms to be proud!

I dont get how they group together gay people and psych patients who want to physically change themselves. There is no relation there. If I was gay Id be offended by the LGBT logo. No PRIDE there. Other than, gay people can be proud, I have no problem with that. Im proud to be heterosexual and if I ask Obama for a month to celebrate that Im a racist.

Everyone should be proud of who they are except Trannies who dont accept themselves for who they are and need to go to extremes to alter themselves. That I dont think Ill ever get but I can accept them as human beings.

Im totally cool with that, just this agenda to prioritize to force people to accept it is really annoying. I mean really, I posted that last night because this came a day after the people that really matter to me who are the vets (includes gay vets just to add) yet the day after a whole month is announced by Obama of celebrating PRIDE, I mean this society is crashing to shyts. Now I dont think we need a whole month to celebrate vets either, but no groups should be celebrated that long including black history month....Nationally that is, but its everyones personal choice of course.

Honestly, it's false pride. Pride comes from accomplishment, and being gay is NOT an accomplishment. There is no merit to pride anymore.

I want Blond Pride Month. I am sick of being the butt of stupid jokes. Look at Dolph Lundren - guy is wicked smaht, and can't get a single role where he looks intelligent. It's just not right.
 
It is funny too. Really, it is arbitrary discrimination that we should be against - not promoting someone based on an arbitrary rule that their skin is the wrong color, they are the wrong sex, they have the wrong religion, etc.

But yet, we make arbitrary rules (discriminations) to combat these arbitrary discriminations. Go figure.

That's just it! "Accepting people who are different" yet the LGBT screams for equality. So where's my straight pride month? Where's the straight pride parade? I don't start organizations to support my sexuality, so why should they? I don't meet people and ask them if they're straight or gay. Those LGBT people feel the need to plaster it on every billboard and change characters sexuality in movies. They are set on altering things that already exist or forcing their lifestyle on others. How about you wake up each day, live your life, and stop worrying about what others think? Do you really need to wake up and think, "gee, how can I exploit my sexual preference to the world a little bit more today?"

I never said we shouldn't accept them. I also never said the white house make a pointless stance on it. What does this actually do to promote equality?

Is this going to cause someone who is gay to get that raise they were passed over for? Or is it more likely to skew things so that suddenly being gay is a merit and not a characteristic? Will someone who is better at a job be passed over now because they aren't gay and the political winds aren't in their favor?

This should be about equality based on merit, not about arbitrary characteristics and differences people have.

Cubsfan used the point that a veteran is a veteran even if they are gay and it makes no difference. If someone lays their life on the line, they deserve respect for that regardless of their race, gender, hair color, sexual preference, beer preference, whether or not they smoke, etc. And if they do so and are part of a class that has been discriminated against, they still deserve the same respect and equality. Discriminating against all people who aren't part of that class is just another wrong.

Nobody fears trump more than the politicians in power. The guy doesn't need anyone's approval. He doesn't need anything in life and doesn't need allegiances.

Politicians, Republican and Democrats, all increase their job opportunities by expanding government and thus increasing the jobs available I'm govt for themselves and their friends.

America wasn't founded with career politicians in mind. Trump is NOT a career politician - he doesn't need any of this. And that scares both parties.

We had here in Bananaland a similar situation. The wealthiest man ran for president. He got elected because the people thought that he wouldn't need more money and fight against corruption. After this guy had the power, everything turned to sh1t, he took it ALL.

But who is the KING of prohormone chemistry? The dark haired Patrick Arnold. That's right, more discrimination based on hair color. Where is the blond pride? Doesn't anyone see what is happening here?

Well, I'm not gay so idk what that last bit was about. Also, why do you has so much dislike for people who are gay? They've been called evil by the Christian extremist for how long now? Seems like those billboards and sexuality in movies and such makes you uncomfortable. I wonder how the gay people have felt for the last however many years that there have been straight sexuality plastered everywhere in media? But I guess their feelings(the same ones you have in terms of different sexualities on display) don't matter. I'm blond. One of my professors told me I can't talk about discrimination (the topic of the lecture at the time) because I "look like an Aryan." Completely serious too.

People should shave their had out of respect too and all hair salons have to close for a month.

I am a alcoholic, I started drinking when I was 13 and during my youth in the 70's used a wide variety of drugs. I went thru an extensive in-treatment at the VA and got sober and clean. I learned something interesting while going thru rehab, it seems there are those of us who have a gene that makes it more likely to become addicted. I could have used this as a crutch and said it's not my fault, I was born to be a drunk. instead I knew how destructive my behavior was to myself and the ones who loved and cared about me, and fought to gain sobriety. it was a tough fight, wasn't instant success but I stuck with it and today I am approaching my 20th year of sobriety...now you want to talk about pride!!! pride is something you earn, it isn't given just for being who you are.

I am still a alcoholic, but for today at least I chose not to drink....just because I sometimes might feel the urge to drink does not mean I have to act on it, drinking was the most natural thing in the world to me, I had to give up many friends and change my lifestyle completely. I honestly felt like a fish out of water[pun intended]not drinking.

my old counselor willie told me that you are a alcoholic if drinking is causing problems in your life....feel free to interpret this as you will....
