There's a bit of a difference between not being PC, and just petty name-calling because you don't like the ideas or beliefs of someone else.

Lol. When you're 22, 23 years old, didn't go to college, and still live with your parents (or even if you don't) and work a minimum wage job, yeah I'd say you're really not contributing to society much, and that has nothing to do with my personal opinion of you.
Calling someone a moron because you think they're wrong and you're too narrow-minded to even consider the views of someone else; yep, I'd still stand by my claim that there is a difference.

Unfortunately that's an issue with a two party platform. If you vote for super qualified Mr. Independent/Libertarian/Spaghetti Monster Party, the under qualified Dem/Rep will win every time

But it's a board not a gym, so I didn't mind asking and I'd never hold anybody's choice against them. Anyway, if I was out of line then I apologize Matt! I promise it was an honest question and I'm just trying to understand politics. It's not something I follow like you guys apparently do, so I am admittedly naive.

At least if you don't vote you make yourself a non-winner, which still seems better than a loser. I'm just viewing this mathematically speaking. :o

I'm surprised people still think it was "like totally a surprise" (although I don't believe an American knew 3000 people were going to get smoked) I ask those type of people if they've read the transcripts of the Zacharias Moussaui (Sp) trial. When they say no, I chuckle and move along. Not a fan of the FBI, but they got the royal screwing by their equally moronic friends at CIA. I love that Al-Hazmi and Al-Midhar were in the San Diego phone book. Known bad guys listed by Ma Bell... Shows you how incompetent .gov really is...yet they want all this power over your liberty.

Bill Cooper knew and played out the details on his radio show that they were going to pull something off big and blame it on Bin Laden about 6 months before 9/11 to justify wars. They government smoked him shortly after 9/11.

I think both the CIA and FBI have some very good people, unfortunate forces block them from doing their job just as Obama ordered them to pull back of those san bernadido attackers, or the investigation of the 9/11 hijackers, etc...

I totally get what you mean. I got a little heated earlier, as I despise Trump LOL.

I almost despise Hillary as much, she is the same old same old as well. They both will get us into more wars IMO.

I'm so disappointed that the system has marginalized Bernie. I honestly feel like he is the last hope for the people. I've considered either not voting or just writing in Bernie.

I think Trump is insane, honestly. He will make America even more of a laughingstock than it already is. Either that, or he will totally reverse his positions and be just like Hillary.

Either way, I don't trust the man not to destroy America. I don't trust Hillary not to, either though.

Honestly, I may just write in Bernie regardless of the nomination. He is by far the most principled and ethical of any of the candidates.

Its screwed up, the system is rigged from the inside out. Not that my opinion should have any influence on your vote, but damn I totally have respect for you if you put in a write in vote for Bernie.

Maybe since the superdelegate system is rigged and millions of voters such as here in NY were blocked from voting, Bernie would run as an independent or 3rd party.

I have a question, what would you do if Donal Trump chose Bernie as his VP (besides planning to assassinate Trump, LOL!)?

Thats one of my fears....but not just Hitlery but he will comply and compromise with the same establishment GOP that have been catastrophic over the last couple of decades. Dump is playing it off as he is not, but all I can do is watch and give him 4 years to earn my vote for the next election.

At the end of the day, Im confident once everyone's emotions settles that most people will be highly disappointed. I really wish Im wrong and Dump trumps.

1st, I didnt vote for the rapist, so thats a big difference. If I voted for a "known" rapist and get rape then yes Im personally responsible for that.

I really dont think that comparison is proper though.

Sure it is. You have the freedom to vote and choose the president of America but you refuse to exercise that power and when America goes to **** you stand back and say "well I didn't vote for him/her so my hands are clean" but you didn't not vote for them. You've essentially watched them be elected and somehow distort that fact to clear your conscious.

Yeah, that's kind of what I'm left with too. Facing the fact that the lesser of two evils is nonetheless still evil, a losing effort! To support a loss seems futile and unacceptable. Also, I believe I heard once that if you have a registered vote, you lose you're legal right to object/protest later, but I don't know how it really all works or if that's even true. Still, every time I think it though and try to talk myself into one of these characters, I return to the reluctant conclusion that maybe it's best to just avoid participation in such elections?

Besides, I think Hill wins no matter what. I suspect she was promised this long ago if she just played nice for the last 8yrs. The whole email scandal suggests that now they're trying to weasel out of the agreement though, but they know she'll squeal like a pig on all of them if they screw her on this, so they're putting her in check with some extra insurance to preempt any stunts and make her look like the bad guy if necessary. I don't know. It is fascinating to ponder though, lol.
 
Also if that's coming off as rude or condescending, I'm not meaning to. Running on little sleep with finals and been waiting for staples to bind my mother ****ing outline for an hour and a half

I have the freedom not to vote for Tyranny. I vote with my money and it goes to groups I feel will protect my liberties and constitutional rights and have non-interventionist foreign policies. I also do things on my own to spread the word and message of freedom and liberty. I still have alot of work ahead to do ahead and in need of ALOT of education, but there certainly is a big difference between opting out of voting between Stalin and Mao in defense of freedom and liberty compared to being totally ignorant of the situation and doing totally nothing about it.

Keep in mind, if I opt out again of the Presidential race this election, I still go to the voting booth and partake in the majority of my local elections.

If its government regulated protest, its not a protest. Nobody can tell you that you dont have a voice or your individual power to protest just because you opted out not to support tyranny.

It's mandatory to pass the border with a passport these days, so if these people are coming through with no ID, then it's illegally. There is no legal immigration policy in place currently which allows people to enter without an ID. Border guards look up your info through a database (it's their job to do a system check upon entry), so basically you're saying Trump isn't going to change anything?? Cos that's not what he's saying.

You can have an "enhanced' drivers license too like I do. With that you can leave your passport at home. Just an information post, lol.
