The issue isn't the critical analysis, it's the democracy. A majority shouldn't dictate rule, only one should if he is to get to the top accordingly, not through nepotism or cronyism. Blind allegiance is foolish but many blindly align themselves with "free thinking" ideas that don't work with reality, these people should not have the power to dictate rule. They aren't entitled to anything. If everyone blindly align themselves with their nation at least their society would be stable, depending on the rule of law.
If people stand for purely ideas and not their nation they live for nothing but ideas. If people can't understand reality, war, and all things horrible yet necessary with reality they should not have any word in the rule of law.
