It all depends on who is measuring, where they are measuring, what they are measuring, and the intended goal of a particular study.
The climate is supposed to change, no element of nature remains stagnant forever! And its also why they had to change the name from "global warming" because the temperatures didn't continue to warm. Thus climate change. LOL. Through several ice areas and million of years the climate has continually changed.
The question then becomes which way its changing, will it change back, and are humans the primary cause? And what the proposed solution would cost, could it be guaranteed to change the earth's temperature, and how many degrees for certain? ALL of which remains incomplete uncertain and viewed through the lens of partisan politics!
Because as you said, climates also changed on nearby planets (Venus and Mars) with NO human influence at all.
