Donald Trump running for president

I love Trump

Who could vote for KamalaToe? She is as useless as it gets.
I am an independent voter, not R or D and I cannot fathom anyone that would vote for her.

Unless you vote for a "party" which to me makes you a useless voter.

lets Vote for America first , can we please?
I voted third party the last two elections. Trump won by a landslide in my state anyway. I will be voting for Trump this time. He's better on the border and the neocons don't like him because he isn't a warmonger. Just hope they don't JFK him.

Did you have a 3rd party libertarian running in that governors race?

Ok my head is totally scrambled I was giving you 2018 results, having a long day sorry.

2022 our Libertarian Candidate was the year we were both legislated and sued off the ballot (sued specifically by Republicans because thats the way they think they can get my vote.) I still voted for our Libertarian Candidate as a write in.

Seems like it didn't work judging by the last few paragraphs.

I think the sad thing about all of this is that people automatically assume any bad weather MUST have been created by the govt. I mean, weather has existed since the beginning of time, but it's now like "oh it flooded today, it was the govt"

No the problem is people don't think the gov't would even try such a thing. Do I think they "control" the weather? No, but again, I'm sure they have tried nefarious things that they would never admit to. Weather manipulation is a thing and I'm sure they don't really know how it affects things in the long run.

Exactly. They never talk about the sun cycles that could be contributing to climate change. You know, the "normal" things that have been around since the beginning of time!

Or maybe the long term effects largly ignored blowing up all those nukes into the ozone layer a few years back.

Except the climate is changing, lol. It's literally measurable. It even occurs on planets humans don't exist, like Venus superheating.

Of course. There's no real way of knowing, but we know that doesn't deter them. Even with nukes there was concern raised even 1 nuke could wipe out all humanity, but they still did it anyway.

We still see the effects that leaded petrol had on people today.

To be fair that concern went down to zero scientifically before they actually tested the nuke

It all depends on who is measuring, where they are measuring, what they are measuring, and the intended goal of a particular study.

The climate is supposed to change, no element of nature remains stagnant forever! And its also why they had to change the name from "global warming" because the temperatures didn't continue to warm. Thus climate change. LOL. Through several ice areas and million of years the climate has continually changed.

The question then becomes which way its changing, will it change back, and are humans the primary cause? And what the proposed solution would cost, could it be guaranteed to change the earth's temperature, and how many degrees for certain? ALL of which remains incomplete uncertain and viewed through the lens of partisan politics!

Because as you said, climates also changed on nearby planets (Venus and Mars) with NO human influence at all.

The reason they changed to "climate change" from "global warming" is because people kept confusing local temperatures with global averages.

What is the main driver of capturing heat in the atmosphere, rather than it dissipating back out to space?

If I leave an empty bucket outside, naturally it will fill up with water when it rains. But if I were to add a hose, it would fill up faster. Why is it not possible that natural cycles can be amplified when you add a multiplier or external source?

Well that's positive. I guess that was dramatized for effect, but good to know they had ruled it out.

I think the reality is, for many things, it is impossible to know the unintended consequences of every single action we take. We can study the effects afterwards, and hypothesize outcomes beforehand, but sometimes it literally is just a wait and see.

Let’s not forget it was global cooling before it was global warming and then just climate change.

I do remember in the 80s very well to the big fear was the ozone layer, think they discovered there was a big hole over Antarctica and celebrities and singers that was their thing backing those pretending that they care.

Probably for the same reasons - people associate their local temperatures with those definitions rather than applying them to the global average

Hi Jiigzz

That era they said the planet was going to freeze over.

We can all argue about "climate change" (roots/causes, etc.) but is anyone here naive or plain dumb enough to believe that paying more taxes will solve the problem? The idiots who believe in man made climate change actually think carbon taxes will mitigate climate issues. Those people are insane. Almost every highest recorded temperature in the 50 states came during the 1920's to the 50's if I remember correctly. I'm trying to find the chart that shows each states highest recorded temperature.

Pay taxes to tax pulluting scum zipping holes in the atmophere in private jets and mansion that run more electricity and oil than most american villages. LMFAO

100%.

It is stupid. Telling people to drive EVs when the biggest polluters are businesses.

Also stupid - wealthy climate change nuts buying beachfront homes and flying private jets. While opposing fracking (way cleaner than oil and coal) and nuclear energy (the cleanest most powerful of all) which both produce far more continuous reliable energy than windmills and solar.

When climate hysteria says "It's the hottest day in a hundred years" it tells me that 100 years ago it was hotter, and thus also COOLER for 99 years. LOL
They have added alot of crazy exotic names to storms in recent years as well.....what used to be just a cold front now is a "blitzering smitherin frosting superduperwave"

Im still projecting Harris to win next week, if final "official" votes are in.

Humans are very good hypocrites. Even if they believe in something, if it inconveniences them, they won't do it and simply expect others to sacrifice for their sake.

Very few people are actually selfless. It gets you nowhere

If Kamala wins, then this quote is apropos about the future of the United States:
"Quos Deus vult perdere, prius dementat." = Translation: "Whom God wishes to destroy, He first maddens."

original quote was: Quem Iuppiter vult perdere, dementat prius = Those whom Jupiter wishes to destroy, he first deprives of reason"

Anyone nervous about the results? Tension is already high in some places especially work. Already hearing heated arguments between coworkers (which is unprofessional but no one seems to care)

Im still projecting Harris to win the "official" results, Trumpers should not celebrate until he actually is in office next year imo.

Nah.
Me getting all worried or upset about it won't change anything.
:)
