Does Cissus Raise blood pressure?

I have used cissus before and had great results with it for joint soreness, etc. I workout 5x times a week and cardio 7x a week. My diet is real strict and right on key.
Anyways, I to my question. My dad is 63 years old and has joint pain throughout his body. He doesn't workout or eat properly since he drives a Semi for a living. He takes blood pressure medication for high blood pressure. I was thinking that Cissus would help him a lot with his joints, ligaments, etc. but I am not sure if the active compound will affect blood pressure or not. He checks with his doctor before taking anything new to make sure, but I just wanted to here from USPLabs, etc. about this.

No problems for me

My BP has been fine on it, actually gone down slightly. My father, who takes BP medicine, has taken Cissus with no rise in pressure.
