Like so many other people have said, I train ALONE as well. When I first started lifting weights it was my best friend and I liting in his bedroom. He got a weight set for his birthday. But after a couple months and after he got a job, he got lazy and started skipping work outs. That's when I decided to get my own weight bench for my house. Ever since then I have worked out alone.
A couple of my friends have tried to work out with me, but they are not intense at all, and they like to do what I call "Lazy Work Outs." All they want to do is machines and exercises that do not take any energy to perform. They never want to do legs, only want to do 3 sets of bench press, and they rarely break a sweat.
Also, they always have an infinite amount of questions and between sets they are worried more about talking than setting up the next exercise we are going to do with plates.
