When I started using glutamine my recovery rated where cut in half! That's just me though, look for now sports brand you can get a kilo for next to nothing! I take 15grms a day. Everyone body is different though. It has a lot of digestive properties as well
So much info has come out now that it is useless for recovery, so long as you are getting sufficient amounts of protein. However, I do find it very beneficial for the immune system. When I feel a cold coming on I will use 10-20g throughout the day and it usually stops the cold right in its tracks.
