Do BCAA really help in retaining muscle?

Looking to lose 100 pounds. Will bcaa help retain muscle mass? I know that's what I'm reading but does it really work?
 
I am using extend for fasted pre workout - have the same question you do. The BCAA's do, I think, help in the volume dept when diet sometimes makes muscles feel deflated. My 2 cents. I am on my way to losing 100 LBS and trying to preserve my slabs of old powerlifting muscle - good luck!

I notice the difference to when I am using BCAAs to when I am not.

How much how often Rosie?

I use at least six scoops of RecoverPRO daily, timing as required (between and with meals, etc.). Check out my 2012 log for more information on my supplementation.
