Late to the hammy band convo, but how do y'all measure/fit for one?

And, if I'm currently losing weight am I better off waiting until that's done? I'd hate to have one for a month and then it's too loose...

Id wait. If you don't have an injury then it's not a necessity so id rather get it sized right. Same thing as forearm cuffs, just for hips!

Really happy with my effort today considering the fatigue state form lack of sleep reps were speedy and setup was pretty solid I only had 1 or 2 reps where my shoulder popped out

Thank fellas I'm awake now after a 4 hr nap. It a good thing yesterday officially marked the end of my caffeine free workouts, 3 months off I'm happy with that

Feel pretty good actually eyes still feel heavy thou

So far I love my destroyer wraps that are comfortable and tight if they hold up they will have been well worth them money I paid

Had a little 5'1" 130# girl handing off to me today she did a great job

Seriously thou she has massive lats and this is only here 2nd week with us and her form is coming along great. Going to be a strong bencher I think

I know! It's a total three ring shyt show! The whole thing. This is a yearly occurrence. Some of the members will recall the Sparkle Smackdown that happened a little less than two years ago. Cube Boss or Cube Kingpin? Reps x sets, or sets x reps?

Sqauts were very explosive today felt great depth was great a few set I paused extra long on the last rep cause I was working with someone and want to show off a bit lol wanted to do more on last set but he told me he wasn't going to save me

Deadlift
More hook grip that **** hurts gave up early on it. For some reason grip seemed weak I think it was just my approach to it cause on the Last set I got fired up and felt fine then

Front squat
Didn't feel like doing these but the other guys did so did it anyway

Big super set I was breathing heavy after that

Heavy ass calf work there has been many times my big calfs have saved me in a squat got to keep them up

Pump work then abs planks are getting stronger

Nice band setup! I need to use that for some of the messed up racks I squat out of.
 
I want to do that at the local LA Fitness and see what kind of funny looks i get from some of those people. Would be pretty funny i bet.
 
I get a bunch of looks when I get the bands out mostly because they don't get the purpose and the can't sqaut **** lol

I don't know if I could squat much with the greens. I get the same looks though.

More than you can with the blues and less than you can with the purples! It's fun and it's hard and that's all that matters.

Hey, are greens the same as the EFTS blacks? Did they switch colors? Just trying to get an idea in tension as I used then recently.

Greens are EFTS greens, as far as i know. The pro monster minis.

Okay I used then recently and they seemed a lot like black bands I bought from then a couple years ago. I couldn't tell if stronger. I'll say they did make speed pulls no fun lol

I use them for super d mobility, and they're pretty tough.
 
Were I doing it with the deadlift platform pins cause I think we measured ours at 100 combined at the top as well with a luggage scale

It was an actually platform...hmm I didn't think about that. I glanced at a chart and guessed as I didn't have any actually measurements.

Felt great today still trying to build my shoulders up

Bench press
Started a little slow but got a lot better by 3rd set. finally I feel my shoulders blades making a nice stable platform. Foot position is still up in the air a bit as to where the best place is

Rest is my usual stuff it would appear that these are getting stronger

So just in the past few weeks I haven't noticed a big difference in shoulder size but I have notice quite a bit of different in my chest since starting flys and what not. Going to continue to to attack these lagging parts

FWIW to you the SHORT green Monster Minis from EFS are worth about 80-95lbs on most people's pull height, based on Elite's chart. I use them more than any other for pulling if I do use bands.

Shoulders are a small muscle group. You keep punishing them and one day you'll look in the mirror and be like " Damn when did this happen?!"
