A lot of strong lifters out there. Team Jax, Samson Barbell, and I hear Charles Bailey and a friend of his train in some non-powerlifting specific gym as well. Can't forget you either!
I train at a Bailey's. It's ok, but they don't allow certain things. (EDIT: I just realized you weren't talking about the Bailey's owner. )
I looked into Team Jax, and couldn't find where the facility was. I'll have to look into these again.
Everyday in the gym is a fun day

You could do heavy walkouts today, but I don't think they're a huge help.
Yeah, I'm not sold on the physiological benefits. But the psychological benefits are real, for some (i.e. those that freak out when the weight feels heavy on their back).
I'd rather hit a full rep with a light/mini reverse band.
For me, a brand new weight can feel like a ton my first time. I'd assume everyone is different though(ala Sean the other day).
Just go geared for awhile then nothing raw will feel heavy again lol.

I don't know enough to comment either, but I will say that is looks like you're squatting in outer space with the lighting going on at your gym.
I'm not really an expert on box squatting, so overall, it looked good to me. The only thing I really noticed was that your head position changed throughout the set. it looked like you looked forward/slightly up on both the eccentric and concentric on your first rep, but looked down on the eccentric and up on the concentric on your latter two.
Groove looks a little off on the box squats but not bad at all.
Picked up some more reading material "Squat Every Day" sounds like a good read
