You can use a barbell or a special barbell or pvc pipe and suspend from bands or chains or whatever you find. and use plates or kettlebells. Each has different levels of instability but if you wanna give it a shot, you make do.

I've already been told no on bringing chains. But banded plates would prob work great.

I also noticed he had bands on the bench like LS posted the other day. Hitting the grocer up to get those dish rolls soon.

I'd like to figure that out also. I feel like having my feet out wider helps when having my feet flat

Awsome day felt great and light 20lbs pr on squat I'll take it. need to clean a couple things up on it but I'm happy

Deadlift
First 525 didn't feel very clean lost my grip at the very end norm said I would have got it but I wasn't happy so I hit it again this time no problem felt smooth and held it at the top this time. Amrap was ruff 5 then the set of 6 and the last as a grinder. Sorry I forgot to tape it trust me I got it

I see you over there adding 30lbs to your gym total in a couple hours! Nice.

Edit: 530 was perfect attempt selection. No form break and a tough grind. The only thing I could say is don't wait around in the hole as much, get down there and get out.
 
Great squat man, impressed. Do you squat in a flat shoe?

Also just realized you weigh more then me. God i tiny compared to everyone now.

Herder for some reason I'm always slow out of the hole the guys accuse me of pause sqauting the weight all the time. Also I think I forgot the glute cue on the last 2 sets cause on the previous ones I remember actively trying to do it

All I could think of today while squatting was an odd lou voice telling me to squeeze my glutes lol and yes I do use flat shoes they are the mark bell Crossfit shoes I bought them from Sean and love them just wish they were a size smaller

Nice, i have the same pair and always squatted in them until now where im trying oly shoes. Lol my voice is on some obb vids i believe if you want the actual voice playing in your head.

It's the same raw, gear, knee wraps, no wraps. Faster you get in faster you get out. I pretty much go real fast, bottom out my wraps and mobility for bounce and start reversing just as I get there. I always felt like pause squats got me faster.

No idea. I think a lot may have to do with your connection to the floor. When I don't have a good "spread the floor" connection, I'm slow out the hole.

No idea. I think a lot may have to do with your connection to the floor. When I don't have a good "spread the floor" connection, I'm slow out the hole.

Edit, i also find it harder to connect to the floor in oly shoes.

If I don't have a good connection- I miss depth and miss speed. It's been my issue recently.

Me personally, I'll pause with whatever my working bar bar is. I'm not too sure what info is out there regarding pause length. Maybe Herder knows. I've personally done anything between 1-8 seconds.

Either or, man. Like Sean said, usually go with comp bar placement for specificity. But I'm not as sadistic as Sean. I pause 2-3 seconds for triples. No reason really. Duffin like 5s with a SSB.

For self wrapped and grippers they were pretty tight. I possibly could have gotten them a bit tighter. I feel it goes back to my original comment about forgetting to use my glute cue cause for me it feels like it's tied into spread the floor
 
Holy cow I just picked up so stuff called preform from the makers of biofreeze this stuff works great very strong feels great

Your 2 logs have been a big driving force for me to improve in all aspects of my lifting.

That's not to say I don't learn a lot form everyone else's logs too.

Hit and miss sorta day just missed my 315 both times at lock out first time got loose at the bottom second just flared to soon. Setup felt solid thou, strength is there just need to use it. Perhaps may have gotten it without all the slingshot work who knows

Was going to call it after the couple fails but watching people work had me wanting to do something so did the down sets. Not going to get better if I just give up

Once u get the hang of it yes just need to stay consistent with the wrap job

I watched a video on it, so I'm pretty much a pro. Thinking about getting some wraps....

Nice benching man. Up that dose of fish oil and that raw 315 will be there... Lol
