DMA's Never Satisfied Training Log

Invalid Link Removed

I'm not even calling this a proper pull. Wow hurts my back looking at it. No wonder I pulled an Intercostal shortly after this and took 6 months off of Deads and Squats. Rebuilt my strength from 275 max while focusing on form, hip and foot placement.

Looks good and congrats on matching the PR with much better form. With just a few tweaks to your current form you could probably increase your weight by 15-30 lbs. Hit me up via PM if you want to discuss my thoughts.

Secondly, I know you can pull 455 with no straps for a single with a mixed grip. If you are going to use straps then do double overhand grip. It will be much easier to wrap that way and you won't be creating an imbalance training that way. Over under creates imbalances in the muscle on one side if you don't try to similar volume of work on both sides. So be cognoscente of that but also start working that grip on the singles and triple and save the straps for higher rep sets. If grip isn't a concern for you then do double overhand with the straps for your training.

I swap grips every other set. But only put the straps on for the last 3

I won't even lift this heavy again for weeks, at least a month. So straps, strapless, grip...that makes no difference to me. I don't use straps when doing moderate weight/higher rep deads as part of my usual routine. But when I do decide to go heavy I don't want grip to fail me if I could have pulled it otherwise.

But form improvements I am definitely looking for tips.

Going to start running the Sparta Epicurus in a few weeks and will be a staple for the foreseeable future!!

If I recall, your new epicurus product is epicatechin? If so pairing along with laxogenin would still be a nice combo. Btw, nice Sparta sale going on right now for the 4th.

Also, 11-kt plus invictus alone sounds pretty awesome, so that should still be nice coming off your cycle.

I let my coach know it would be my last hurrah for a bit since I will be starting my cycle in a few weeks. Between alcohol and food I jumped from 204.6 to 210.5!

Destroyed my motherpunching arms this morning. Trying to mentally prepare for coming off. Last 2 doses of Test have been 200mg, next few will be 150, then down to 100. Will be logging Iron Legion Invictus starting next week, I'll throw up a link for anyone interested.

Nice, I just picked up some Invictus with the Nutriverse July 4th sale. So definitely link us to your log.

I saw you posting in the Invictus thread. Which btw, I plan on dosing just how you stated...

.5ml post workout after shower (am)
.5ml mid evening before bed

Nice, I'm thinking of running this alongside IGNIT3 in the latter half of this month to trim down on the tail end of this recomp. The logs on invictus have been pretty stellar regarding belly fat - which is exactly what I need to target.

We've been really excited about all the rave reviews on Invictus! Looking forward to see how you guys like it!

I think it makes a lot of sense to run invictus if you're going to run a high stim fat burner to mitigate the additional cortisol

I'm hesitant to. I have another bottle of Icon-11, but an anxious to start the Invictus as well. Wasn't going to combine to give Invictus a true log. I'm going to run 2 bottles of Invictus though. First bottle will be solo, second will be with T3 and Absolutely Abliderated at which time I will lower the Invictus dose a little since AA will lower cortisol as well.
Iron Legion what do you think about that?

Feel free to follow along in my log as well, will probably still be about 2 weeks before I start though.

Forgot to post yesterday's workout. So I'll throw it up and today's. Going out of town for work on Mon-Tues, flying to Ohio to visit a customer. Will hit the gym Sunday and Wed-Sat next week, but am going to make it a volume and intensity deload week.

Will get the Invictus log up Wednesday as I will start it that day. And am going to run a keto diet along with. Haven't done keto in a couple years. So hoping it helps me breakthrough the fat burning hump I am stuck in.

love keto food choices but gawd damn if the meals aren't for tiny children... hate the volume.

its not enough... its never enough (the volume) haha

You aren't eating enough green fibrous veggies if you are having a problem with not getting enough volume of food when on keto. You want to be full brocolli is your friend.

The broccoli and cauliflower medley is my go-to. Also good sources of potassium and calcium since milk and banana consumption will be down.

You clearly don't know about my broccoli fetish haha. Eat it by the lb.

But on keto even fibrous veggies have a limit. There's still enough carbs to be an issue at the volumes I'm talking.

Well I guess if you are going full on keto as in staying under 35 including fiber that makes sense. However most keto diets I have been on, or researched don't coun't the fiber as carbs, only the net / digestible carbs. You can get into ketosis that way pretty easily. However ketosis is not needed to burn fat extremely efficiently. When ketones are coming out in your urine you have more ketones being made than you are using. You can also go into ketosis by having a large serving of MCT oil, in that form fat is broken down EASILY for energy and will be broken down in the blood before using glycogen stored in the muscle for typical daily activities.

Oh yeah and I did not know about your foliage fetish! ;)

Daniel should not be considered following a keto diet though running 75mg of carbs daily. Definitely low carb but not really keto, and that is plenty low enough to burn fat preferentially as the main source of energy.

Niceee explanation , do you have a log ?

I can see a pronounced vein on my forehead, my son came home with an F in physics today.

Just catching up and reading through so sorry if you answered this..

College or highschool? I just finished up college physics and it's the toughest course I've taken so far. It's definitely a very difficult and new concept if you've never had any physics before college. I had one in high school and I still struggled. Granted, I did get an 100 in the class, but it was a horrible professor who basically handed out points on exams and homework, but I literally learned nothing from that class. I'd take calc 2-4 and differential equations before another physics course. Lol

I took college calc and physics in HS and still failed college physics my first semester (albeit with a D and by 0.3% which pissed me off to no end - especially considering I skipped a lab to get drunk that we got credit just for showing up to haha)...

college physics is no joke. and thats coming from a guy who had to take 3 levels of it ha
