Hi i have a question about DHT.. I have read that low DHT can cause problems in sex, ejaculation etc..

I am taking propecia for over than 6 months now and i am feeling those side effects a little..

My question is if i stop taking propecia my DHT will go back to normal? Because i also read somewhere that the propecia side effects remain after you stop taking the drug, is that true?

any one experience with this help please.. Thank you
 
Same as I said on the other board. It should go back to normal after some time of ceasing medication

I agree. The change won't be immediate upon cessation of medication, but it should take long to return to normal.
 
you mean i need to take some other drugs for DHT to go back to normal? what do you mean when you say It should go back to normal after some time of ceasing medication.

Just stop taking it
 
Were you taking propecia to prevent balding/shedding, or for other purposes?

Finasteride may cause side effects.

inability to have or maintain an erection
decreased sexual desire
decreased volume of ejaculate (amount of semen)
pain in the testicles
