DHT blocking Supplements?

Starting to notice the hair is becoming very thinned out on the classic crown area! Im 31 and would rather carry what i can for a few more years (Yes Vein :D:D:D)

Are thier any supplements that have backed studys that do help in blocking DHT? So many mixed reviews on Saw Palmetto etc. Im swaying towards just buying Finasteride but i hear a ton of horror stories on it.

Anyone had success with any other supplements? I see Minoxidol seems to be quite popular... Worth a try also?

Same problem.
Using pura d'or shampoo since 6 months, and there is a difference for sure.
The hair started even to regrow.
No side effects as far i know.
So might give it a try

What's worse: losing your hair or Losing your ability to get it up?

DHT is a very important male hormone. I wouldn't take the gamble, messing with it.
 
We will have a hair loss stack up soon. There is a KEY factor that you are missing and once we reveal it, you will see why simply blocking DHT isn't the only answer!

Hair loss used to be a concern for me and I did one cycle of propecia. That stopped most of my hair loss (it was when I was about 32) for a good 4 years but then it stopped working. This is one case where I think you should just pony up and go see your doctor for the real deal!

Yes, that is one major issue with DHT reduction. DHT is a very important neurosteroid and also has activity in the penis, so it's a catch 22.
 
Just deal with it. Not getting gyno and a possibility of lifetime Erectile Dysfunction issues more than outweighs a little receding. I started loosing hair at 17 and I assure you NO ONE GIVES A SHEET except you. I have dated young and old and NONE cared. Just got married last weekend and she does not care at all, now if my weewee stopped working that would be another story. Till they come out with a DHT blocker that is completely localized to scalp I would stay far away.
