Destroyed: My recent breakup

Men(most anyway) want women who will be down for them from day one. Looks play about half of role, but more important is the fact if the she will be with you when times are rough and good.

After that test I ran on her things seemed to have changed a little bit. Contact has increased and she has seemed to be more giving at times. She actually called me during the week a couple weeks ago, and of course I scheduled a massage for a couple days later. Got that with happy ending, saw her again that weekend. The last couple times I ran into her when out, let's just say that she's been very touchy feely in reaction to my slight standoffishness. She also bought groceries then cooked for me twice last weekend. I still haven't been initiating contact, btw. As we can see, she is investing time and $. And from what I understand, the more that they are willing to invest, the less likely they are to go elsewhere.

What up, phasar. The cold turkey thing was painful for those few weeks back in March. I started feeling better faster when I saw she was really trying to get ahold of me. We see eye to eye on the job thing.

Like I said I've been going out still and meeting other that are plenty attractive, but flaky. I haven't really met any that I like more than you know who though...even though they have been plenty more attractive -- like piss her off if she sees me talking to them attractive. The resources thing only matters so much, if there really isn't anything there that that person is just a tool.

What achilles mentioned is one the most important qualities.

mmm. well. yep, it's me, mr. bad man. IMO, because she no longer has that job (or so he says).. any resolution and stabilization in their wonderful relationship is more her keeping him on a short, secure leash as insurance. i think he's still her pawn. "destroyed" is right, he's not even an individual. he can't not be with a woman. men who are dependent on women are like women who are dependent on men.

and, tc, yes, apparently for many physically attractive women the more attractive they are the more egotistical they are. self-absorbed, pompous, selfish.. if you could only see the world of women through the eyes of a man for a few weeks.

i remember back in my old alternative education high school.. the feminist teenagers (oh, i'm sorry, "women"). well, all their convictions, protestations, issues against the misogynistic society that oppressed them... were bogus. they were playing with their bodies, enticing, teasing, posturing, showing themselves off, basically. just like the adult women are constantly doing. it's all about their bodies and how beautiful they are. they don't stop, they have no restraint. no mercy. no compassion. none. they keep doing it. they are very manipulative and deceptive and turn spiteful and vengeful quickly. they need no justification, no understanding, they just do what they want. it's all about what *they* want. this is the majority of the beautiful kind that dresses up on a regular basis to look beautiful. of course, if they are getting their needs met (in a relationship or have multiple partners to meet theri "needs") then they are less prone to the hate trips. but the petulance is still there.

i'd say, for the most part, the feminist movement is thoroughly destroyed. the corporations and the false culture, the whore culture, has won. women are as vapid and worthless, on the mental.. spiritual level as the industries that thrive on the barbie mentality intended. this is the America i have seen. they aren't all taken, but most of them appear to be.

women, in very general terms, american women who have bought into this image centered life, where their sexual attractiveness is their primary gauge of worthiness, status... have definently earned my abhorrence. i can see art, pornography, whatever, the image of the woman's beauty... and still feel a twinge, a deep yearning for that which first fed me.. but.. the living beings are often a burdon to me, if not a repugnant experience.

Not hijacking your thread Handzilla... What grade are you trying to teach TC. Everyone in my fam is involved in education, so I kind of followed pursuit. I'm leaning towards elem to middle school myself.

If I could see the world through men's eyes....all i can do is laugh at that statement, I think the real beauty would be for you to be a women for a week, no a day....you could not handle any longer. Your responce seems that you hate women, you have nothing decent to say about women, and I mean not one kind word.

At least handzilla is out there trying to find some happiness and living, remember along with living comes hurt, regret and sadness but your alive. You (I like to think ) eventually find happiness, love, and all those great things we have read/seen since being young children.

Its so easy to sit back and judge when we are not in the situaton. Life is short!

I teach preschool special education, but in the past have taught high school special education. I love teaching, my kids are great :)

Ive been in similiar situations more than once...I would be lying if I said they havent greatly affected me and the person I am today. Sometimes when you are down you just gotta man up and say No More. Its hard. Just work on you and the things you like to do. You'll meet other women. She doesnt sound like anyone you should want to be with anyways. If you do get her back, you will probably look back one day and wish you would have just let her go way back when.
 
Wow, I just spent the past 1.5 hrs at work reading through all this. It was entertaining to say the least.


I don't know how it ended since this thread stopped abruptly, but at the rate that it sounded like it was going, handzilla probably got back with his ex.
