I suppose this could go in the general chat forum as well but whateva I'll try here first .
i am not a big fan of fighters who put fighting on hold to act but I watched Pandorum last night and it was bad ass . Le did a pretty solid job , I almost didn't recognize him at first . He spoke no english but had a signifigant role and after a few minutes I was able to buy into his acting enough to stop thinking "hey that's Cung Le the fighter " and enjoyed his character . He f**ked some mutants up ! I also couldnt help thinking how much fun it must have been to make such a cool movie . I guess I'll stop being so harsh on Rampage .
 
Ill think we wont see much off Cung Le in th ring in the future.
He is getting a little older and is going to have some long layoffs.
Too bad after the beat down he put on Shamrock I was hoping to see him go to the UFC and Challenge Anderson Silva. But he surrendered his belt to continue his acting career.
 
him vs anderson silva would be a total joke. frank shamrock isnt even really that good. cung le is great dont get me wrong but top 10 ufc fighters in both 170 and 185 would dominate him. hes fun to watch in strikeforce and would have to stay there. i think he got to MMA a little late but he was fun while it lasted. its been al ong time since hes fought. hes taking a route i think he can get a lot more money because strikeforce is broke. I would do the same as him.
 
dude it was hard for him to finally beat an out frank shamrock. hes great but wouldnt last in UFC in top 10 weight class. he would tear up others. hes a great striker but someone like anderson silva would walk right through him. **** i even think nick diaz would win.

Agreed, but he doesn't seem to always have that killer instinct when an opponent can obviously be finished off...

I haven't watched him fight in a while, so I honestly can't recall which fights gave me this initial opinion of him.

Speaking of MMA gone movie star, Huerta didn't stay away too long...

Nick Diaz would rape him. Cung's never had to go to the ground in Strikeforce. Nick would molest Cung Le.

Thats right , Huerta did Tekken , I think and then got reinvigorated by losing to Maynard ? I think Cung Le is in that movie too . Even though Pandorum was good , I have trouble looking foward to Rampage as Baracus . Remakes like that are highly questionable and I saw Rampage in Midnight Meat Train(no it is not a gay porn) and even with a small role it was evident he is no Denzel ! I still havent watched the Scorpion King w/Couture . What are some other roles MMA fighters have done ?
 
Forrest Griffin was on an episode of Law and Order and Chuck Liddell was briefly in that movie "How High," lol.

I'm not sure about any main character roles though...
 
chuck was also in a couple other short guest things as well as someones music video lol. what randy was in scorpion king? how did i not know. umm yeah roger lol i hope he stays that whole movie star crap sucks. yeah im sure nick diaz would kill him. i think diaz is a great fighter. cung le is such a great guy i think he does lack a little killer instinct tho. hes just a nice guy, and teacher. ill miss him tho.
 
haha i love that guy, hes always at the events. ive seen the show like twice and it was ehh whatever but i like to see a true celeb fan. some go jsut because they are trendy now days.

Micheal Clark Duncan . Rather large black guy from Armegeddon and The Green Mile is at a lot of events . Can't think of any other celeb regulars . Famous or not , if I had the cash I wouldn't miss a single one !
