My wife has struggled with getting up in the morning and hitting the snooze for most of her life. I take care of her supplements for her (DCP, vitamins, etc) and started giving her Kre-Alkalyn again (she used it successfully in the past but without realizing what’s next) and just 1.5G to start when she went away for a weekend (I didn’t tell her about adding it back in). When she came back, she talked about how much energy she had the whole weekend and it was great. That type of response has continued and extends to knocking out chores left and right, and she just texted me that she’s up at 7am on a Saturday ready to go when normally she’d sleep in until 9am, or before we had kids, 11am! She has also doubled her reps in all lifts and added 5-10% weight on everything in the first week of that small dose. Now, I realize creatine is great for strength, but that quickly at only 1.5g? Naturally, after realizing the strength gain, I started giving her the full 3g dose
To be clear, it’s more affected her drive to do things and ability to easily get up as opposed to actually doing things and the struggle to get up. She’s always done chores and got up on time when necessary (still building in plenty of time to hit the snooze though). But today, she has no reason to be up at 7am and texting me that a new PS5 is $800 lol.
Does anyone have any insight?
Thanks in advance.
