Sure Randy has gotten better, he has gotten older as well....
the reason both of those guys whooped up on Randy is because they are same skill level and just way bigger. Rico has awesome grapling game and Josh is an all around good fighter. I bet if Josh fought Randy again he would win, cant say that about Rico..he's gone down hill! Your more likely to find him at a strip club or Chinese buffet than find him in the gym.
I dont see Randy out wrestling Brock or manhandling him at all! The Only guy Randy beat that was considerably bigger than him was Sylvia... sorry but Sylvia sucks!
If Brock gets his endurance up and works on his striking he would whoop Randy's a$$
Yeah the main thing for Brock is his endurance. If he can keep going and not run out of gas then it would be a focked up day for Randy!
Not to mention the fact that Randy is getting OLD! GH can only go so far...

Its not about finding out who is the best any more. Its a shame.
 
Randy brought in Carwin to train with. Sounds like a good choice as he's a big dude that was a HW NCAA champ in wrestling.

Carwin looks like a young Couture. With the right training, he could be the next great HW.
 
Randy got sloppy he over trained got too small and looked flat and tired. He had a break, went to heavy and steam rolled all in his path. This guy (couture) does well after a long break and i see him decimating lesnar i cant wait till it happens, lesnar will be a great heavy prolly but it doesnt happen that fast, he's no fedor. Does noone else think that him rag-dolling silvia and gonzaga is not some indication of his power, he threw some of the fastest hardest punches ive ever seen against gonzaga and held him up to beat him. controlling him with his head and suffocating him making him completely useless. Gonzaga pinned down cro crop and landed elbow after elbow he's not spectacular but a big man none the less. Has lesnar even taken a punch yet? or gone to decision? He beat herring whoppity do now hes a freak because he won one fight. He lost to Mir whos a complete bum IMO and has done nothing for 3-4 years besides lose. guys are calling a big win over randy... cmon i think this is just plain hype. I may be very wrong but i see lesnar being outclassed out smarted and and out of the ring before round three sounds.
 
I think Brock will win. He Almost grounded & pounded Frank Mir in a few seconds. Couture is definitely slower than Mir but has better striking. (But striking vs. Brock? Are you serious? With that NECK?)

BTW, Gonzaga lost because he got totally befuddled when Couture's bald head smashed into his nose. He was putting up a very good fight before he was taken down and his nose smashed.

Gonzaga lost because he has no heart and Couture kept the pressure on him.
 
I disagree w/ the no heart comment. A broken nose would take the fight out of almost anyone that's not high or drunk.

Oh well, Gonzaga's still young. He has talent and he's a gorilla. At his 100% it's obvious that he has a ton of potential.

He lacks the heart of a champion. A broken nose is not a reason to mail it in, especially in the biggest fight of your career. He was broken against Werdum as well.
 
I thought he just got worn out by Couture, but he definitely gave up against Werdum. That was very disappointing.

I honestly dont see him doing much. He lacks heart and Im still pissed about his fight with kevin jordan. I want my 13 minutes back.

His nose was broken by his own knee when couture slammed him. There are endless gifs of this.

Hahaha are you kidding me, what does Mir have? subs, umm subs and subs. He won on his back and lesnars inexperiece made him stand there and offer his leg on a silver plater. Do you not think this same inexperience will hinder other aspects of his fight strategy against randy.
If i consider hype i can justify this alleged talent in some fighters but watching them over and over again is irritating. Mir and Herring are bums sloppy slow bums who like any dog have their day.
Im not speaking about their carreers but the present and presently randy decimated silvia and gonzaga. If you want to think for a second that gonzaga had a chance rewatch the fight with your head on your shoulders and out fo your ass, i say the same for silvia.
Mir should have lost.. because he sucks and he still got he W. What else did he have going for him? Once again has Lesnar been hit yet? that is a big question you have to adress before you can conclude brock will beat the Former UFC heavy and light heavy champ.

Its very aparent the UFC brings back sub par fighters with familiar faces. Rather than pay the relatively unknown established fighters more money.
they toss in the same slugs a few times and get serious mileage off theses TUF season guys simply because of the reality television market and the fact people will root for a familiar face.
Put griffin in the ring with Fedor and the UFC fight vote meter thing would favor griffin, and the crowd would chant "USA, USA".
Maybe Mir will regain his old form after this season of TUF but watch his fights he has no heart neither has gonzaga, and herring is just a trainwreck lately.
