Thanks guys. That's probably the easiest 545 rep I've ever done minus the meet lift of 550. I've hit it ~3-4 other times. And today felt like I could double it. haha.
Hand actually didn't hurt at all, that's a wound from my meet, that keeps opening and bleeding underneath my callus. Just, squeezing the bar pushed all the blood out. It wasn't that bad but I didn't want to make it so bad I can't lift w/ that hand. I feel like I got decent volume in, some heavy singles, and +1 on my rep. And felt good about it. I was really like... tired? I just didn't have physical energy when I got to the gym. I felt refreshed, and healthy, but no insane drive. I mentally changed that though. I am finding that mental state and personal motivation really play into your performance. So I am going to spend more time getting myself into that state of mind. I have to remember why I train, why I do this, why I want this so bad. I start thinking about that and things just get better... I think I was tired today because I slept a lot, trying to catch back up and heal up as well as recover from this cold. So, hopefully get my health in order here soon and then get back on that training grind.
